interesting longer article on the 'revolving door' linking directors and board members of insurance companies to the continuation and expansion of fossil fuels as well as their involvement with the largest polluters

the underwriting of insurance for current and future expansion, combined with 'loopholes' that exist even when an insurance company claims it's cutting ties with coal, isn't something we hear spoken about too often. conflict of interests, anyone?

Natural gas has been killing coal for a while, and now other sources of energy are becoming much more cost friendly. We're seeing more electric cars because the technology is becoming cheaper. People have always wanted cheaper, cleaner and more efficient. The markets are responding. Sometimes it just takes time.
