....'s thread about your life on the net!

I have been wondering recently about life on lit. Is there a life cycle?

I don't mean: Huge Argument / Forgiveness / Porn Issues / Political Hour / Huge Argument.

But in the way that member's approach Lit.

Virgin Posters - on the fringe / Shy / non contentious
Over 100 posts - made some friends / get on popular threads and boost posts
Over 300 - more confident / start to flirt
Over 500 - get slightly bored with being nice to everyone / not nasty but more contentious
Over 1000 - Belong / leaders on the board
Over 3000 - Bored / take a break
Over 10.000 - been there, seen it , bought the t-shirt - jaded

Just wondering :)

Ummm...I don't think I waited until I was over 300 posts before I started flirting.

Just a hunch.:D

You might have something there, Jass.

I'm heading to a time where I think I might break off for a while. (Of course, I felt that way twice before already, but it didn't last long!) :rose:

I know I didn't. My first three hundred posts were flirtatious.

Now, when i moved from the personals board to General board, then I was very tentative about posting.

And no, I don't think there is a cycle. We all do our own thing. Some come in with guns blazing and some are church mice for the first 1000 posts.

Jenny - Have fun and come back refreshed!

MissT - Maybe that is just my life cycle on lit!

Juicy - okay I give in slap my ass, hard!!!!

Yup, and i'm glad I didn't wait, either... but I haven't been on Personals - and as you know, have no idea how to "cyber" :D

I like being opinionated and crusty sometimes - it brings out the best in folks who have the wit to challenge and instruct... :p

It depends on how long you've been here. Two years ago, the board was a lot smaller, and the "life cycle" was considerably shorter.

I flirted in the first few hundred posts.

What is funny, the less I flirted, the more posts I made.
