There was a book I read awhile back called 'The Insiders' by Rosemary Rogers. It was mediocre but I always thought the main characters had so much potential and the author didn't really give their relationship any depth. If someone could write a story/novella somewhat based on those two it would be great. Not the same names or anything like that, but use them as the inspiration if you get what I mean. Writers let me know what you think
So basically the storyline is this: Its set in late 1970's Los Angeles. Main female character has long brown hair, green eyes 5'7 115 lbs and is a model. Male character has blonde hair, blue eyes, 6'2 180 lbs. Male character is a millionaire who inhereited his fortune from his deceased grandfather. He gets his kicks from throwing wild parties with drug and alcohol induced orgies. The female character is somewhat promiscous and just broke up with her boyfriend. The two characters meet at one of his parties and the female is frightened by him. He ends up drugging her drink and rapes her in the "play room" where he has all his fun. During this she repeatedly fights him until she passes out. When she wakes up she finds herself in a dark room which turns out to be his bedroom. They argue and he gives her a coat to wear since her dressed is ripped up. He takes her home, and she threatens him if he ever comes near her she'll kill him. He laughs this off and drives away. When he gets home, he tries to go to bed but can smell her perfume on his pillow and remembers he brought her in there, when he's never before brought a woman into his bedroom. In the next few weeks the female recovers, and moves on while the hero decides he wants to marry her. He ends up coming by her place to talk to her, and gives her the proposition of marrying him. No one has ever fought him before, and he is extremely attracted to her. He wants normalcy, stability, and a family. He promises to never hurt her again, and to give up the drugs and wild parties, all he wants is her.....
