Sending Pity for you hun, only 1.10am here and my eyes are open wide !!!!!!!!!!

since I am exhausted and can sleep...why don't you come here and hold my baby who won't sleep unless I'm holding her, so I can get some rest.....lol........see it will work out for both of us.

I feel for you sugah, I've been there...most often when I have poetry in my head....can't sleep unless I write my thoughts down....think about trying that?..whatever you're thinking about...put it on paper...then get back to it after you've slept...it might tire you out enough.

perky

thanks t.h.
even worse, i only have to go into work for 4 hours today but i'm going to be too tired to go out and have fun after. grrrrrr.

i tried to write earlier tonight but it didn't work. right now i'm way to full of emotions to nail them down with words. trying to write made me feel phsyically ill :( usually your advice would do the trick but i guess what i'm feeling tonight is too complicated.

that and it's difficult to write when you're shiviring!

Do a search for ppman and read every one of his posts. You'll be asleep in just a few minutes.

haahahahahahahahahahahah

omg lexie...sorry sugah. Try some hot cocoa then made with milk or scrub the tub.the thought of that usually makes me tired enough to try to sleep again

seXieleXie to bad you can't sleep!! I'm sitting here at work, and looking forward to getting off in about ½ an hour. There isn't much to do today, since there's only around 10 people out of 200 working here today.

Hmm how does a nice long massage sound to you? One where every inch of your beautiful body is gently massaged until the skin burns lightly from the pressure of the fingers?

I wouldn't mind giving you one of those, but I'll have to admit that it would probably turn erotic sooner or later ;)

Well....

...it's cold outside and I'm going back to bed. There's room for two.

You southerners are a stitch...

sleep debt

For 25 years or so I've been getting by on 4-5 hrs. sleep per night, if I'm lucky and have racked up enough sleep debt to ever hope to repay it. I'll sleep when I'm dead. As they say....

But next time I'm up at 4 a.m., which'll probably be tomorrow, I'll come looking to see if you need someone to talk to, if you like.

~H~

i'm flyin' on 6 hours sleep in 48 hours.
weeeeeeeeeeeeee

*crash*

blah... i think i'll go take a nap now

I understand.

Insomnia again rules my life
by debbiexxx
Late at night, sleep is an elusive creature
I see before me the corridors of my mind
Each night runs the same double feature
I cannot sleep, sweet slumber I cannot find

You of the blessed, sleep undisturbed, peace
I instead toss to and fro and turn or lay prone
Fantasise I do, of warm sleep a wish or caprice
To find, touch the Mistress’s magical sleep throne

To find an end to the tortures of a sleepless night
My body screams, I need sleep but the demon wins
I seldom dream, hoping for a sleeper’s helper, sprite
Wondering what ails me, so confess my many sins

I drag my weary body through the next day, hoping
Needing to find a cure, I ache all over, I wish to fade
Give me peace, pure bliss of a few hours a sleeping
Is it a disease, incurable, I feel so empty, betrayed

Twisting, turning, thoughts jumbled in my mind
Am I perhaps insane? Have I forgotten my madness?
Through the corridors, bends, sleepless resigned
Praying for sleep, my body cries, oh please bless

Enrich my tired body with a calming, serene peace
Fold the quilt upon my inert, quiet, slumbering body
Endless nights, eternal never-ending evenings cease
Find me where insomnia cannot reach, I beseech thee

I have found something that does help me sleep.

I take one a night, when I am ready to sleep, or need to and find I fall asleep easily. If I awake a few hours later, I find myself drifting back to sleep instead of lying there awake. :)

i like the poem debbie :)

i tried some herbal stuff last time i had bad insomnia (i get bouts of it) but it didn't do much. what i really need to do is get my head sorted out, but that is taking some time.

meanwhile, i've developed a new appreciation of sunrises.

Nice sunrise today in NYC

Well, I have also had another one of those nights! Not thinking of anything in particular, trying a few times to just lay down and rest. Reading and posting, but not able to handle such tasks as bills and heavier correspondence!

Your poem was lovely debbie. Here's hoping our future nights become more relaxed! (Wondering what time I'll actually "crash" today?)

I understand the herbal stuff. I have been there, done that before. But this stuff is amazing. When I take it, by choice not like tonight, I sleep very well. If I awake? I find myself drifting off to sleep, no worries or hours spent watching the ceiling.
I stand behind this stuff so much that if you want, I will send you a bottle. (My cost New Zealand $14.95 a bottle for 60 capsules) Free. But only if I know for sure you have insomnia. I am blonde but not totally dumb.

Insomnia is very cruel.
