inserting images into body of post

hi all, been having a play in control panel and have been trying to enter a gif into the body of my msg, can anybody explain to me how to do this......thanks

There are several threads discussing this, including the one where you attached wolf_pair.gif and tried to use the IMG tags with "http://wolf_pair.gif/"

In short, attachments show as links, because that's the way the BB software is configured. It was done that way because dissplaying attachments slows down the BB response times and uses a lot of bandwidth.

The IMG tags only work with images that are on the internet. they DO NOT work with images on your hardrive. They also onlywork with IMAGES -- URLs ending in JPG, GIF, TIF, BMP, etc. They do NOT woork with URLs ending in .HTM.
