...insert Photograph?

I keep seeing all these threads with photograhs as part of the message.

When I try it, I get a little "icon" that you can click on to display the image, but not the image itself.

Another route I've found is the "insert picture icon" on the upper message bar. It gives me a "HTTP//" hyper link window, is that it and what do I enter in the window?

Paste the URL of the picture in that box. It has to be hosted online somewhere (though you shouldn't use Imageshack or Photobucket for hosting), not just on your computer. There are detailed instructions on inserting images directly into posts in our FAQ sticky.
