Insane philanthropists was my ancestors name for liberals.
He invented the name in 1860. In the same essay he prophesied the future of America when the insane philanthropists took over. His particulars are what we have today. That is, total corruption in the government and our major institutions.
So far, one of the predictions failed.
He thought the insane philanthropic corruption would destroy the fabric of America so bad a self respecting criminal couldn't make a living from crime. He saw crooks preying on crooks.
