I saw the term inorganic posting used on another site. Any idea what that means? I'd ask there, but they would just flame me for being incendiary.

My guess: Automated Spam.

What about bots? Couldn't the KR and yaya trollbots be considered inorganic posters?

It's defined in the questions and suggestions forum on that site. :) I haven't been in a while, so I couldn't tell you its exact name. Other than that, I've never heard of inorganic posting. All posts are inorganic as far as I can tell. Not a single one is physically based on an organism at all.

Essentially, it means unproductive posting habits. Like constantly replying to your own thread to keep it alive. Or brigning back a thread that's six months old to make a comment on a subject everyone's forgotten about. Or constantly posting nonsensical drivel that doesn't add either substance, wit or whimsy to the conversation.
