Damian sighed to himself as he finished up a ‘job’ for his boss who was one of the leading cartel drug dealers in the region. His work wasn’t actually involving the transportation or distribution of drugs. Instead, Damian’s work was more dealing with debt collection. He was the one who when clients couldn’t pay would visit them to ‘rough them up’ so to speak. Unlike most cartel gang members Damian kept himself separate from the business other than names, addresses and amounts owed.

” Seriously Johnny, pay Don before things get ugly all right?”

He shook his right hand to wring out the pain that was there from having punched the balding druggie. John Lamont, known as Johnny boy owed Don a good five thousand and this was the man’s first warning so, well he got off with a punch to the cheek which would cause a black eye and knocked the man down along with a swift single kick to his stomach which had the middle aged man crumpled and gasping helplessly for air.

Damian pivoted on his heels and headed back to his silver mclaren and climbing in he opened up his small notebook which had his list of names. John Lamont was the last ‘visit’ for the day and overall Damian had collected from four of the six clients without violence. John and Stew both were given one week ‘extensions’ to come up with the money, so things were fine.

As he headed for Don’s Damian’s phone pinged about a new message waiting for him. He glanced over and saw it was a notification that Rose had updated her blog. Damian had been friends with Rose’s brother for ages it seemed and though he did know the financial struggles they had gone through not once did they ask for help. Kaiden and Damian had grown up in the same neighborhood and so he knew full well the challenges that life had thrown at them.

As he pulled into Don’s a few minutes later he parked and taking a moment to open up the link to her blog if his jaw could have hit the floor it would have.

Hi my name is Rose, and I know this is rather unconventional, but I am willing to sell my virginity to the highest bidder... and it won't come cheap, I have or will not justify why I am doing this... it is my right to keep that to myself. I am 22 years old and yes I am still a virgin, I am not looking to get married, to have a relationship, just one night of where I give myself to another.. there will be rules to be discussed in private... a nda to protect both of use, a full work up of most recent medical files, on both parts. I will do a screening as well. I do not want to share personal moments with you, nor do you have to do so with me, I am just looking for one night... and then we say our goodbyes. I have long red hair, dark green eyes, I keep myself in shape. I shall share one picture. I think that is all, the bidding shall begin at 12 am.

What the fuck?

His immediate thoughts were this, but after a moment to make sure… well that it was real he quickly opened up his messaging app.

What the fuck Rose.. you are not doing this...

He had watched Rose grow up just like anyone else, and privately when he was alone he had even fantasized about her as she had hit womanhood. Damian was a few years older than her but due to the ‘work’ he did he had a maturity to him that was rare these days. He sat in the car in shock… but he had a few minutes before he had to go in and deliver the money he had collected to Don. He waited to see just what she’d have to say for herself.

He had a VERY good idea why she was doing what she was doing, but… well he didn’t want her to auction her virginity off. A wave of possessiveness washed through him. No one else should have her but him in his opinion!

Did I really want to go through with this Rose asked herself time and time again before posting the one picture that she had promised to post a photo opt she had done on a model shoot it’s what she ultimately wanted to do, she wanted to take some time after college which she had done, she was deciding on what she wanted to be in life she went to school for fashion as was good at it, but right now it didn’t help with bills so she worked three jobs, part time waitress. Bookstore clerk on weekends. And part time babysitter.

She was beyond exhausted and she reminded herself this was not for her but for her family, her mom had given her everything and she needed to give back that and she couldn’t lose her mother. She shook her head and bit her lip as she looked over her blog post deciding this was it before hitting the send button, not only would the world see it but so would her friends and family, at this point in time she didn’t care. She was doing what she felt she had to do.

What was her brother and his wife going to think did she care of course but at the same time she was doing this for them as well as her mom they were all she had. She shook her head three jobs weren’t cutting it and she had a long way to go to become a fashion model, but she knew she could and would but for right now she had to pay the hospital bills off and the house payment, that her mother lived in, she was grateful for her small apartment and she was grateful to be able to still pay for the home nurse.

She sighed deeply posting the photo and hitting send.... now we wait she thought to herself.

A few hours later she noticed her brothers best friends message .... she sighed. “Yes. Yes I am.”

Damian had known rose since grade school. He and Rose’s brother Nathan had been friends since then, and of course because he knew the in’s and outs of Rose along with her family he did know within himself that there wouldn’t be any talking her out of this. He did feel the need to try though. After all, Damian knew all her secrets, or so he thought.

When she didn’t reply straight away that only made Damian even angrier over things. Usually in his life Damian was the one who was in control of his situation and the factors of his life. He sighed in a frustrated manner and shoving his phone into his pocket for now he did climb out of his car and heading into the villa Damian delivered the money to Don before he took off to do some thinking of his own.

When the reply message finally came through his mind somewhat raced as he considered what to do. The thought of someone other than himself touching Rose in an intimate way bothered him quite a bit. His fingers seemed to fly over the digital keyboard on his phone.

Well it took you long enough to notice I messaged.

He started out, his thoughts still a stormy mix of consideration for the different ‘factors’ here. He had gone over her blog post quite a few times by then, considering what she had written she certainly did seem to be covering her bases so to speak, but that didn’t mean he would ever agree with what she was doing. He knew he couldn’t actually ‘stop’ her from doing what she was going to do, but at the same time he felt the need to try in his own way.

It only took another few seconds before the bubbles showed he was writing another message to her.

You’re sure about this? What if you end up with a guy who hurts you?

He found even the idea of someone else having her in that way almost made him feel sick to his stomach but at the same time, he didn’t really know yet what he was going to actually DO about it. One possibility had already somewhat propped it’s way up into his mind… namely what if he ‘bought her’ for himself? He certainly had the money to spare, that wasn’t the issue. She was his brothers sister… and of course though he had fantasized about her slim young body and what he might do to it given the chance, he hadn’t honestly thought such an opportunity might come. For now however he was making sure she did actually understand what she was getting into.

Of all people to text her it had to be Damien she didn’t even think he would follow her blog much less call her out on, she damn well knew if he had seen it then she was sure her brother had as well. Oh Damian she thought to herself you’ve never been down and out so you Wouldn’t understand why I have to do this, and she wasn’t even doing it for herself she was doing it for her family. He knew how stubborn Rose was and he knew she was sassy and didn’t take any shit from anyone either, she was almost the perfect girl, almost she thought. Damian knew everything about her, mostly he didn’t know her fantasies and he didn’t know that she was a virgin either.... well now he did.

She was thinking about how to respond to him, yet and the same time she really didn’t want to either. She took a deep breath she didn’t want to answer him she could imagine what he would think of her now. She chewed on her lip as she got ready for the evening shift at the restaurant that she worked at. https://pin.it/4QkIdOS.

She sighed to herself so I really want to go through with this, no she knew she had to this was what she wanted to do at least this way she knew she was going to get her money and on her own terms she was very clear about that. Rose had always loved Damian and she knew him almost as well as he knew her or so she assumed she did. Finally when she texted him back she waited to see what he would have to say it was Friday she would make good tips at work then the weekend she only had the book store for 4 hours each day.

He was right it had taken her a while to text him back but what did he really want her to say after all.

Oh Damian let’s here what you are going to say she thought to herself as she brushed her long hair out of her face leaving it down before applying her makeup and getting herself together. She looked around her modest apartment that she took great pride in. https://pin.it/1I2aLIz

She grabbed her purse and her keys and was getting ready to head out normally she would walk but working the late shift she just didn’t feel safe walking home. She sighed to herself and walked outside there was a nice breeze and she enjoyed it for a moment before walking over to her car placing her purse in the passenger seat then climbing in herself.

She noticed he was texting back and she knew what he was going to say before he even said and she knew part of her wanted him to talk her out of it, but the other part of her knew she was going to go through with it.

She texted back quickly this time. “Damian you of all people know I can take care of myself.” She texted back as she rolled her eyes she wasn’t a little girl anymore.

She knew he would never ever touch her and she had come to terms with that a long time ago, sure she had always pictured her first time being with someone that she loved but this wasn’t a fairy tale she thought. She would always have feelings for him but it was almost taboo because of the friendship he had with her brother. I’m doing this she thought and pulled off to go to work.

If she thought that Damian had never been down and out, then Rose didn’t know Damian nearly as well as she thought that she did. He may not have ever really had the supportive loving family that she did, but Damian was literally a self-raised man. His father had been a drug runner for the cartel and had been killed during a run into Mexico. His mother had been a druggie and had been even less than anything close to a mother that Damian could have ever considered. That was partially how he had ended up working for Don… initially it had been to pay off his mothers debt, which didn’t really help anything when she committed suicide by overdose when he was fourteen.

Damian was a survivor though and against everything he had finished his high school and college. He was a smart man and knew how to ‘play smart’. Just because he hadn’t been right in her shoes did not mean that he had not faced some of the same adversity that she had in her own life. He had made his way from Don’s and was currently at home looking over the site she had posted on. He was leaning back in his favorite black leather chair and was nursing a glass of whisky on the rocks as he considered things.

His phone dinged and while he did consider letting it go for now, he figured it was her. He for one didn’t treat her like a little girl, but there were plenty of violent men out there… Damian in certain situations could be one of them. She knew he knew how to fight, that he had been trained as well in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and that he had mixed that in with her street fighting. She knew he was VERY protective of those he cared about, and the fact he was taking the time to reach out to her should have told her that she was one that he cared about.

He knew that if this WAS due to her mother, then there certainly wasn’t any way he was going to be talking her out of it. The text still sent a surge of frustration through him as he read it… and yet also a surge of pride. Why the hell does she have to be so god damned stubborn? He knew she was, and that she was doing this not of her own volition so to speak. Finally however, Damian picked up his glass and downed the rest of his drink before he replied.

I know you can… you’re the strongest woman I know.

He didn’t know how things would play out so to speak, but he quickly added a second message.

I see the blog site… how is the auction itself being handled?

Damian was going to approach this one step at a time. A plan was somewhat already formulating in his mind, but he needed more details first.

She didn’t think that he never had it hard, she felt bad for really even thinking like that for sure, but at the same time she didn’t feel like he had any right to judge her at the same time, and in a sense that’s what she felt like he was doing. Why did life have to be so complicated she wished she was a teenager again and her father was still alive, but life didn’t always work out that way either. She knew a lot about him and she also knew he offered to help but she also knew her brother denied it numerous times as she would have as well. Damian didn’t know that Rose knew, but she did and he would never know how much it had meant to her. She took a deep breath as she drove slowly to work with the windows down trying to control her thoughts that were all over the place.

She was grateful to be going to work she would be able to focus on anything other then Damien or the auction. She breathed deeply she knew he cared about her but caring and wanting someone the way she wanted him was two very different things. She turned the radio on and let some pop music clear her head there was a lot of traffic on this Friday night and she was glad. She finally got to work early as normal so she stayed in her car and relaxed before it was time to start her evening.

She knew she had to respond to him though in a sense she really did not want to, but she didn’t want to ignore him either, that wasn’t fair to him, he was just trying to look out for her. She was tougher then people gave her credit for, she worked out often, yoga, Zumba, and she also took kickboxing classes so she was well aware of how to take care of herself and she always carried mace everywhere she went.

she knew he meant well she really did and he ever really treated her like her brothers bratty little sister, even though she was defiantly a brat. She took a long deep breath and bit her lip feeling a little guilty for the way she was being short with him.

She smiled at his text. ‘Thank-you, that does mean a lot to me.’ She texted back her heart melting for a moment.

She texted him the details of how she had set everything up and the link to the auction. He knew she was smart but he needed to see what her plans actually were.

By the point that Rose actually responded to him with the actual auction site he had already fielded a call as well as no less than a hundred texts from Rose’s brother Jamie. Of course, like any good brother Jamie was freaking out over the fact that his little sister was apparently not only going to sell her virginity, but that he hadn’t been able to talk her out of it. The latter had honestly made Damian chuckle… Rose wasn’t one to be talked out of anything… and Damian could appreciate that she saw this as the only way to save her mom.

He knew that she didn’t think he ever had it hard, but that was, well because he had buried those demons in his past and currently was dealing with OTHER demons that he needed to sort out. After all the saying ‘once you’re in the thug life there is no getting out’ was something which Damian had seen for himself. Yet he was close… close to buying his own freedom from those cartel chains as well. He and Don had gotten along well, and Don like Damian’s careful approach. Many of Don’s other enforcers got caught or jailed… but not Damian. He kept everything clean and proper, the way Don liked things. It would be a shame when the kid was paid off, but Don was a fair if ruthless man.

As for Rose, he received her text and simply left it at that for a while, though on his end he plunked the URL information into the site and it brought him to the main auction site. It was all secured through rotating routing so tracking anyone’s position would be a pain… not that Damian was a tech type person himself, but he had already called in a few favors with people who were and had provided the details to the site. He wanted to know how secure it was, as well as what safeguards there were.

He honestly was impressed with how thorough she was being. The funds had to be verified by a third party trust location which was generated aynonimously and would disappear after the auction finished. Further funds could be added but could not be withdrawn from each individual bidders pool. He did notice the location was the bidders choosing however the time was hers.

Makes sense with how much she works.

He also admired the Non Disclosure Agreement which was virtually ratified and verified, the Background check was also required though he had to chuckle slightly to himself. Luckily for him he had a few moles in the system who would run a clear check for him, and the STD report also made sense as it would ensure that she didn’t catch ‘anything’ like that.

The starting Bid was $10,000, which while out of reach for ‘normal people’ was certainly understandable for most who were looking for that kind of experience. Damian submitted his information anonymously, he didn’t want Rose knowing that he was even opening that possibility, but it was there. The main upside to cartel work was that Damian had lots of physical funds to utilize, but he was unsure of how the bidding would go. Finally he leaned back in his chair again as he received a report from his ‘tech guy’ which verified that everything was indeed secure. Flipping to his app message he slightly hesitated but finally texted her.

Rose… I know that you’re going to do this… and I want you to understand I am proud of you. You are being so strong, and I am not leaving your side.

He sent that off, and since the auction wouldn’t be until midnight (a stupid hour if one were to ask him), Damian waited as his information checked out and he was ‘directed’ into a virtual bidding room. The site was very private, but already there were others in the room as well who were requesting further pictures of what they would be bidding on. Surely Rose didn’t think that she’d get away with only one picture for what she was ‘asking’?

She was grateful when the clock told her it was time to get to work at least there she wouldn’t have to think and or read the thousands of messages she was ignoring from her brother she felt guilty and cheap then... but that was that she thought as she locked up her car and headed into the restaurant. She didn’t understand why her selling herself was that big of a deal it was a one time thing no strings attached and guys slept with woman and didn’t get called cheap. She wasn’t enjoying having to do this but how else could she raise enough money her brother had no idea how much debt they were in and he was newly married and expecting a child he didn’t need the added stress.

She knew damians lifestyle well for the most part she did anyway and she seen nothing wrong with although she didn’t actually know all the ins and outs . She sighed to herself as she clocked in and then headed to see what her section would be for the evening. She was 22 and had debated on what she was doing she had never had any type of real relationship she dated but it never went beyond that, her ideal was losing her virginity to someone she loved but life didn’t always work out the way you wanted. She sighed putting on her happy face as she got her section and then quickly got to work. The night started off slow but slowly got busy as least she didn’t have to face Damien any time soon she thought. She knew Damien worried about her he had known her since she was a kid basically.

She was glad that she could put her phone on silent until she went to break, she needed to not think of her issues for at least a little while. She was smarter then one would imagine she knew what she was doing when she set everything in place. Thank god she was smart she thought to herself.

She did some research she wasn’t the first person to “sell” there self so to speak. She wasn’t expecting a fortune she could continue making payments on the hospital bills but her mother’s house was her main concern. She shook her head and tried hard to focus on work it wasn’t easy but she was handling it the best way she knew how. She was smart in everything that she did and she thought about going back to college after every thing she still loved fashion and modeling but at the moment it wasn’t her dream not really anyway.

She spoke to a few regulars thankfully she was able to separate work from personal like people at work knew nothing of her blog although it wasn’t private so if they searched they would be able to find her with ease.

She shook her head the NDA was more for herself then whoever won the auction, after all she didn’t need this getting leaked any further then this auction and she didn’t want to ruin the other parties reputation either she wasn’t that type of person. She didn’t really care about a background check but the std clause was very important to her, and it should be for the other parties involved as well.

It wasn’t often now a days to find a clean 22 year old virgin that especially looked like her, rose knew she was hot but she was no snob and didn’t act like a typical model stereotype either. She had no idea what she was getting herself into and yet there was no way she was getting herself out of it either. She bit her lip as it was time for her break it had come so fast she didn’t even realize that it had already went by that fast. She sighed to herself as she walked to the back to her locker and pulled out her phone, more several missed calls and texts from her brother, she knew that was coming. She shook her head I’m sorry she thought but she was going through with it.

When she read damians text however thinking he would be the one to come down on her the hardest it was the complete opposite and she was stunned and a little confused. “Thank you Damian, that means a lot to me.... I know you probably think I’m a whore but I promise I wouldn’t do this if there was another way. I’m at work I’ll text you later.” She typed back put her things away and headed back to work.

When she got home and opened her auction page waiting for the countdown there were request for more photos she wasn’t planning on it but here goes nothing she thought. https://pin.it/qc8yje1

“Thank you Damian, that means a lot to me.... I know you probably think I’m a whore but I promise I wouldn’t do this if there was another way. I’m at work I’ll text you later.”
Damian wanted Rose to know that he actually didn’t think that she was a whore. Like herself, Damian had gone

Damian had spent his evening doing some research. The site was legitimate and was set up to protect all parties involved. He also had found out that this certainly wasn’t the first time someone had done this. As he looked over the different stories of people who had, he kind of sighed and leaned back in his chair as he pondered things.

Isn’t it interesting how situations push people to do things they never thought they would?

He himself was a representation of that. He often wondered within himself that had he not been raised basically by a drug cartel what he might have done. He was smart, calculated and though a very dangerous man he was protective of those he cared about. Taking the bottle of whiskey Damian considered it for a moment before he poured out another glass and plunked some ice into the golden liquid as well.

She hadn’t responded straight away, so he figured that Rose was at work which was fine. The auction site had a virtual ‘booth in the center which held her account as well as the one picture that she had shared. Damian could see that besides himself, there were four others who had registered. That meant at least five people were able to front at least $10,000 for the auction, with a potential of a lot more money.

Damian had registered five hundred thousand as a currency pool for the auction. After all, Rose was clean of any STD’s, and Damian knew that she was beautiful which not all the others knew just yet.

” You should have taken the night off Rose…”

Damian clicked his tongue as in the room’s chat one of the potential buyers was saying that the ‘seller’ hadn’t shown up yet and that this was all probably just a scam or a hoax and left the lobby. Damian for his part rolled his eyes at such theatrics.

Impatient idiot…

His thoughts were disrupted by his phone pinging that there was a new message and seeing it was from her Damian opened it up.

“Thank you Damian, that means a lot to me.... I know you probably think I’m a whore but I promise I wouldn’t do this if there was another way. I’m at work I’ll text you later.”

He knew that she probably thought that he hadn’t gone to the trouble that he had, nor did he think that she thought he would go to the lengths to stop anyone else from having her. As he was reading her response though the room took note that she was online, it caused those requests to re-surface. Inwardly, Damian knew that if she wanted top dollar for what she was offering she would need to offer up more.

He noticed, along with the others that she did just that, and popping open the little collage that she had done, Damian remembered that she had done a photo-shoot a while back, but had no idea that these of pictures were taken. They weren’t anything overly exposing of her but he had to mentally admit that she was young, hot and beautiful.

For now, Damian waited for the Auction to begin, though the chat was exploding and asking for more. After all, the price tag was at least $10,000. Surely she could give more than some lingerie shots?!

She took a deep breath trying to really justify what she was doing she had done her research and this was the safest way to make quick money. She always told Damian the truth and now was no different then any other time really. She felt lower then normal she knew this was the right thing for her to do but she also knew that she would regret doing as she already was but no-one else needed to know that.

She knew she was distracted one of the other servers noticed and made sure she was okay rose ensures she was and was grateful to have great coworkers. She was smart sometimes smarter. Then she let on, she had given up a big part of her life for her family and she wouldn't change one moment. She would do anything for her family as she knew they would do the same for her. The only person she didn't want to find out what she was doing was her mother.

She was in a predicament and put herself out there for God knows what but she was very smart at the same time, she really could handle herself.

She had checked her phone and read a message from her brother asking her why she needed to do this. She told him simply she loved him and respected him but this was her life and she would do what she wanted with it. He didn't need to know why she thought to herself the last thing he needed was added stress. She adores her brother but some things were better left unsaid.

She loved working she thought it was a outlet from the crappy things she had been dealing with. She opened the site and for a moment contemplating whether she really wanted to go through with this. She took a deep breath and gathered her strength before actually going into the room. She chewed on her lip... She wanted real love all consuming but this was the hand she was given and besides it was just sex.

She looked through and noticed some of the messages men she thought to herself with a giggle at the irony of all this. She knew she was hot she had long slim legs form rite, long red hair, a body to die for and she was kind and compassionate and passionate about everything she did.

"I needed to work Damian I still need to make a honest living lol. " she said shaking her head as she typed up her response.

She shook her head and thought his loss but inwardly maybe she was a little grateful at the same time. She took a long deep breath.

"This is what your getting for now. " she typed out at the demands of more pictures. "besides I stated one picture and here's another I was pretty clear. " she knew she sounded bratty but she also needed to get her point across.

She didn’t justify herself to anyone… at least not in Damian’s eyes. She may have thought that he would come down the hardest on her, but the truth was that Damian just wanted to keep Rose safe. It wasn’t because he didn’t think that she couldn’t take care of herself. Instead, it was because Damian HAD seen some fucked up shit and knew fucked up things did happen in this world.

Beyond that however, Damian found himself wanting to have Rose for himself. He couldn’t really explain why now things had changed, but to Damian the thought of some other man touching her in an intimate way, of taking her viriginity was something that bothered him quite a lot. Finally though he had come to the decision that he would do anything to have her for himself.

Besides, it’s going to a good cause.

He thought it slightly to himself, though as he was considering things while nursing his next glass of whiskey he noticed a new message from her. The lol added at the end settled himself a bit because it meant that she wasn’t angry at him for being upset with her.

I suppose I will allow it :p

He texted back, just being a bit playful with her. As he saw her little bratty comment on the auction site Damian chuckled to himself.

” That’s my Rose… you put them in their places.”

He said that aloud, though as he leaned back in the seat, the time to the auction was fast approaching. The actual auction would last for ten minutes unless bidding was continuing at that point. Once she had given her response to the demands the chat did quiet down a bit, though quite a few of the bidders were complimenting her body, and some were even going so far as to describe what they would ‘do’ with her if they won her. For Damian, Rose had no idea he was even in the auction site as he was anonymous, so for now he was quiet. There wasn’t really much more to be done until the auction actually began after all.

She never wanted Damian to think any less of her, his opinion meant everything it always had. She was grateful for him in this moment however that he wasn't giving her a hard time about what she was doing even though she knew he didn't agree with it. He had always been the one she wanted but she never would have admitted that to him after all. She sighed as she changed into a T-shirt and some sweats no-one was seeing her at the moment and what she really needed was comfort.

If Damian knew how she felt about him out would ruin everything he was her brothers best friend she would never ruin that. If things were different and thought all of this might go down a different way. She sighed to herself, Her life was a hot mess but it was her life and she was taking control of it in her own way.

She had to remember this was all for her family.

She walked into the kitchen and poured herself a glass of wine she needed something to calm her nerves down just a little bit. Her text was meant to make a complicated situation a little more less she thought to herself.

She smiled more grateful for him now then she had ever been before.

She was curled up on the sofa her laptop in her lap. Here goes nothing she thought to herself.

She was reading the comments as she was relaxing.

Okay rose here goes nothing she thought to herself not knowing if she really knew what in the hell she was doing. She bit her lip knowing one glass of wine wasnt going to cut it she needed that whole damn bottle. She went back to the kitchen and grabbed the whole bottle and then curled back on the couch. She sad reading some of the comments and a few actually creeped her out but she wouldn't say anything. She took a deep breath as she knew the auction was fast approaching as she looked at her clock.

Damian steeled himself against the incoming storm. After all she was fit, young and beautiful… it wasn’t hard to imagine that the bidding would be a fire storm. He had done some base research on cancer medical costs during the evening and he had figured out that she would probably need to net at least a hundred thousand to make a dent in the bills her mother more than likely had. Yet ten thousand was also a smart idea, it started off low in order to entice men in. Also, he had seen some women had sold their virginity for only that.

They didn’t hold a candle to you Rose.

Damian thought it to himself, but he fielded a final plea from Jamie begging him to talk Rose out of it. He simply replied that he had tried, but that Rose was an adult and could do what she liked, which was true. Damian understood that, and could only imagine the mental anguish that Rose was probably going through.

You’re not alone in this Rose… I’m with you.

Of course Damian didn’t know how she truly felt about him, but as the time ran down it made less and less difference. Finally, the ‘bell’ dinged on the site and the Auction base amount of $10,000 was hovering over her profile. Immediately one of the other bidders bid on her for that amount. Damian stayed out of it for now. Ten thousand, twenty thousand, thirty thousand… the other men were going up by tens of thousands of dollars every few seconds.

The site had to keep up with it all… after all the site re-checked the available funds for the bid, and when confirmed transferred that money from the bidders trust into the ‘high bid’ virtual trust. When they were out-bid, the money was returned to the initial bidder’s pool while the next high bidder was pooled in. The virtual counter made a verbal cash register type sound with each bid, making sure that no one ‘missed out’ on the update.

When it got to one hundred thousand the bidding seemed to be slowing down… it seemed to be a bidding war currently between a user labeled “Maverick Man” and another labelled “Lady of Shadows.” After all, not only men might be interested in taking her virginity, and Rose had not put in any restrictions that women couldn’t participate. Damian for his part had decided to wait until the halfway point. A hundred Thousand though a lot of money really wasn’t much for Damian, and there were still a few minutes until the five minute mark.

Let the mongrels play… no one will have my Rose.

His thoughts were somewhat darker at that moment… he was angry that these people thought that they were worthy of Rose. In Damian’s eyes, the only one worthy of her was himself!

She didn’t want any of this if she were being a hundred percent truthful but she also wasn’t one to back out and or give up something. She was stunned at how fast everything started to happen yet at the same time she shouldn’t have been. She sighed to herself knowing she was doing what was for the best she was always the type to make a bad situation better and at least in this sense she was in control of things. She didn’t want the bet to start out to high and frighten potential buyers away after all. She sighed and poured herself another glass of wine, she had to get through the night somehow and this was the best way to do it.

She looked around her quant house and pulled her long red hair out of her face, when all this was done she just wanted a shower and to go to sleep she even contemplated calling off her jobs tomorrow she had plenty of sick time after all.

Her phone pinged... she knew it was her brother, so she ignored it thank goodness she had set tones for certain people. Sorry Jamie she thought to herself hoping all this would make sense to him in the end. This was a lot to handle yet at the same time she was strong and was doing this for her family and not herself and that’s what she continued to focus on.

She heard another king this from Damien and smiled at the message, she didn’t respond just yet when this auction was over and she was good and drunk from the wine she’d text him before bed.

Again she imagined the man that would buy her, how they may treat her I mean she was basically a whore. A high priced one but none of the less a whore she thought to herself. She knew it had truly begun and for a moment she didn’t even want to know what was going on so she looked away. She bit her lip but she knew the bidding had begun. Her breath hitched as the priced continued to go higher and higher.

She wasn’t sure about that this who would really want to spend that kind of money on her just to take her virginity she asked herself then again she decided it didn’t matter. She took a deep breath but couldn’t really look away either.

She couldn’t believe it hit that mark she would be able to first pay the rest of her mother’s house off and pay off most of the hospital bills. She felt her heart racing against her chest and closed her eyes relax rose just relax you can handle this. She downed the second glass of wine before pouring her another one. She basically swallowed the third glass down as if she were taking a shot.

Her head was spinning from the auction and the alcohol at the same time, she better text Damian before she didn’t know what she would be typing after all.

She finished the third glass then finished the bottle. “Thanks Damien.” Was all she typed at first. “I’m a little drunk at the moment so I’m going to watch the rest of this play out and go to bed. I’m sorry.” She wrote frowning.

Damian wasn’t really expecting her to reply straight away. He could only imagine what it was like to be in the position that she was… especially with some of the crude comments from some of the buyers that were on the auction site. So long as someone had money and was able to pass the different ‘checks’ then they could be a bidder on the site. Of course that meant she didn’t actually know who was going to be the one who had the opportunity to take her virginity, nor could she just kick someone out because of the types of comments they were making.

Jamie had continued to text Damian and honestly after the fifth time of the guy begging Damian to do something he replied that there was nothing further to discuss. Rose was a grown woman and could do whatever she chose to. and what a woman at that Damian thought to himself. He had the secondary pictures up on his secondary screen and was admiring the top right one where she was in a red lingerie which did suit her, he admired how full her breasts had become, and how fit she had kept herself. To Damian, Rose was everything he wanted in a woman in his eyes.

He was pulled back to the main screen though as the bidding had pretty much stopped at about one hundred and fifty thousand dollars. It looked like Maverick Man was going to ‘win’, but that was when Damian stepped in so to speak. Immediately he bid one hundred and seventy five thousand dollars. The chat had been pretty quiet up until that point as they had figured the bidding was over, but when the new bid rang through it exploded.

Holy shit! who the hell is this guy?

One user wrote, though immediately another added.

We have a late bidder ladies and gentlemen!

The chat kept going, but Damian was making a statement. He was wearing a grin, though as his phone pinged and he picked up the message he replied.

Keep your eyes on it Rose…

He left it at that and as he said that a new bid for $190,000 came from Maverick Man. Growling under his breath Damian smirked with a slightly dangerous tone to it.

” All right you little fucker… let’s go.”

He immediately countered upping the amount another fifteen thousand, which Maverick countered at $210,000. Damian grinned slightly.

He must be running out of money.

He thought but to put the final ‘nail in the coffin’ so to speak he countered this time at two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. There were some comments in the chat to the effect of holy shit, and that the amount was a new record on the site, but Damian didn’t care. Rose would be his, no one else’s. As the time ticked down however there were no further bids and when the final amount was verified again, the announcement went across the screen in large bold letters.

SOLD, FOR $250,000

Letting out a breath he didn’t even know he had been holding, Damian downed the rest of his whiskey. He had just spent a quarter of a million dollars. Yet he felt nothing but satisfaction right then. No one was going to have Rose but him. He had no idea that Rose loved him, but things would soon come to a head.

She chewed on her lip as she watched everything unfold unable to really believe that all of this was even happening. She should have expected different types of comments so she just brushed them off after the initial shock of them. She didn’t say that people weren’t allowed to comment and or say anything part of her wanted to know what people would say after all. She took a deep breath telling herself all this would be over soon enough and she would finally be able to take care of her mom completely and then she could go back to living her life the way she had planned on.

She didn’t really care what people said honestly she never really had, she was her own person and that was all that ever mattered to her no one could ever take that away from her.

Jamie was being relentless and honestly she couldn’t blame him she was his little sister after all, but at the same time she was a grown woman who needed to make her own choices. Maybe this wasn’t a good choice but it was hers and hers alone. Sorry Jamie she thought she would deal with him tomorrow. She had a lot of photo shoot pictures some she posted and some just for herself. She was a little bit confused at the moment and maybe it was just the haziness of the wine she really didn’t even know what she was
Confused about.

Her heart was pounding as she noticed the number stunned she really had only expected maybe 30 thousand to be honest if that. She shook her head and smiled to herself looking at a picture on the side table of her and her mom before cancer. “Well momma looks like I’ll be able to take care of you after all.” She said aloud to herself. Jesus she thought at the rising numbers. She rubbed her eyes making sure she was really seeing what she was seeing.

She was wondering the same thing who the hell was this guy indeed?

This was really happening, to pay off the house was only thirty thousand... she would be able to do that and also pay off the hospital bills without making payments and still have money left over which wasn’t the goal she thought.

Her breathing was so hard at the moment, that this time she had to remind herself to breath.

Tears filled her eyes as a load lifted from her shoulders and soon Jamie wouldn’t have to worry anymore either. She bit her lip when her phone pinged for a incoming text from Damian.

She didn’t respond she didn’t even know how to.

She shook her head wondering if she was dreaming. This couldn’t be real.

She noticed a bidding war.

Her eyes went wide.

This was happening so fast.

Oh dear god she thought wondering who and why someone would spend that kind of money on a woman, but then again people spent more then that in ridiculous things, she noted the sold button and quickly closed her laptop telling herself she needed a shower and sleep.

She thought about Damian then and wondered if she had made a mistake he was the one she wanted yet at the same time he couldn’t know....

Damian’s ‘wealth’ came from the type of work he did. When push came to shove Rose really didn’t know what he did for a living, nor would she really want to. Instead, it was better that he remain in the shadows in that regard. Yet as the bidding did go up and up Damian didn’t falter nor panic at all. He was wiping out a good amount of his personal wealth, but knowing where it was probably going, namely to Rose and her mom, well he didn’t mind. That, and well he was more and more determined that she wouldn’t be anyone but his.

Finally, as the announcement went through on the screen Damian let out a breath that he didn’t even realize he had been holding. Letting it out he kind of collapsed back into his chair as he finished off his alcohol he checked his accounts and sure enough the two hundred and fifty thousand dollars was gone. On Rose’s end it would take at least two business days for the funds to transfer fully into her account, and it was built into the system that during that time should she cancel her obligation all funds would be returned to the bidder.

Of course, Rose didn’t know it was Damian who had won, at least not yet. He would be able to pick the place for her deflowering, but she would be able to pick the day and time as per the agreement. He wondered how the set up would be made… but for now after all the excitement and the day he had already had, Damian felt tired himself.

Managing to rouse himself out of his seat he moved from the computer. It was on an auto shut down timer anyway, so he flicked the lights to the room before he went to bed. Undressing, he couldn’t help but think about Rose and what her reaction would be like when she found out he had won her. He honestly felt like texting her to tell her, but he decided against it. His ‘identity’ would be revealed to her once all funds had been transferred and the ‘deal’ fully completed to protect his identity.

For now, he would have to be patient. In another few days… well it would be interesting to see what the future did hold.

She could always back out she told herself but then she told herself again and again there were reasons beyond her control that she was doing this. She sighed to herself she was drunk but not drunk enough to know what she was really getting herself into. She was all over the place emotionally at the moment and that made sense all things considering. She was relaxed now thank god for wine she thought with a little snicker. She decided to go ahead and call ahead out of the bookstore leaving a message that she was ill,
As the same with the restaurant. She needed a little time for herself to think and prepare for what was to come maybe she would just call off the entire weekend yes that’s what she did.

She was glad that for now this was all over. She bit her lip knowing this was all legit and she knew that she was definitely going to go through with all of this. This was a lot of money she thought... she knew what she was going to do she didn’t need it all, so she would email the site and tell them a hundred and fifty was more then enough. She did just that and she knew soon enough the buyer would see that as well, she just knew that was to much money and she didn’t feel right taking it all.

She sighed to herself and bit her lip right was right after all. She had no idea where any of this would happen but she knew when maybe Monday cause it would take two days for Everything to process. She needed sleep to try and forget everything that had just transpired.

She cleaned up her living room a little to take care of everything. She then when in and took a long hot shower before changing into a tee shirt and crawling into bed. She closed her eyes and even though she had been drunk she found her mind wandering to the auction, her mother, her brother, but most of all to Damian. She tossed and turned trying to force herself to go to sleep. She finally told herself that all would be okay.

Slowly she fell to a deep sleep.

Damian was fully committed to spending the $250,000 for her. In his mind not only was it justified to ensure that no other man touched her, but also to Damian Rose was worth it. As he got up from his chair he did realize how much he had drank within the last few hours, but he was still able to make it to bed.

I’m going to have quite the hangover…

He found despite everything that he was both feeling good about the situation as well as satisfied. Of course from Rose’s end, she was only doing what was necessary, and she didn’t know that Damian was the one who had won her.

As he woke in the morning however he groaned to himself as he moved to sit up in bed and his head felt as though he had been hit with a wrench. Without even looking, he reached over and picked up his phone he first noticed that he had a new call to do for Don and simply sighed to himself. The call was for a guy who had been given a few ‘warnings’ already, so, well this wasn’t going to be a pretty visit, but that was how some of these things go.

Damian also knew why Don picked this particular job for Damian, the guy was more of a public figure, so ‘discretion’ would be needed and Damian was very precise in his work. Getting his feet under him he headed into the bathroom to clean up, before he headed into the kitchen to grab some breakfast. As he did he did open his email and seeing a new notification email from the site he rolled his eyes.

Probably just a confirmation of the sale.

He opened it up as he was pouring a glass of milk and reading through it he almost over poured.

The buyer has contacted us to indicate they wish to refund $100,000 of the bidding cost. Do you accept?

Reading the first line, below were two links, accept, or reject. Damian didn’t really know why Rose would reject an additional one HUNDRED thousand dollars, but he did tap on accept. He would just have to find that one out when he met with her. For now, he finished up getting his food for the morning and eating he thought things over. It would probably be awkward as hell to ‘take’ Rose’s virginity but Damian would have to cross one bridge at a time so to speak.

For Now, Damian sent a text off to Rose.

I still don't think you're a whore Rose, and I'm still here.

He knew people like her brother and others who knew her would judge her for what she had ‘done’ but Damian didn’t… he understood that she was doing what was necessary. Having sent that off he did head out to deal with his ‘client’… it was going to be a long day.

She had known why she had put the money back into the account and that was because she didn’t want to bankrupt anyone and also because she would have the money she needed to take care of her mother and that was the only reason she had been doing any of this in the first place. She had many dreams that night but only one stuck out and that was the one she always had of Damian. She had to remember it was nothing more then a dream and nothing more. She woke the next morning not as if she had really slept in the first place.

She stumbled out of bed her head aching as she walked to the bathroom to grab some ibuprofen and water to get rid of this headache. She looked in the mirror deciding it was a good idea she had called out of work. She sighed to herself telling herself good job idiot and she kind of laughed at herself. She knew she needed a cold shower to wake herself up and shake the cobwebs from her brain. She bit her lip as she turned the shower to cold and stepped in letting the cold water run over her body as she quickly splashed her face and washed her hair and body.

The water had woken her up and hopefully soon the medicine would kick in as well she knew eating something would probably help as well. She walked to the kitchen and pulled out a frying pain and Eggs and butter, scrambled eggs always did the trick she thought. She took a deep breath as she began cooking letting her mind wander trying not to really think about the auction at the moment. She sighed loudly as she finished her eggs and took them to the kitchen island to eat in silence. She felt good about putting the funds back, she wasn’t a gold digger she thought to herself.

She shook her head as she ate and for a moment at least forgot about things as she enjoyed her eggs. She always reacted first and thought later it was both a blessing and a curse she thought to herself. She heard a ping go off and decided she would check after she finished eating and washing the few dishes that she had. She shrugged and fished eating and then started to clean up rose hated clutter. She washed her pan and plate then grabbed a glass of orange juice before heading into the living room. She opened the laptop and was grateful that the buyer had accepted a refund on some of the money.

That’s that she thought to herself. She heard her cell phone ping and knew it was Damian as she smiled to herself. She smiled at his words knowing he meant them and it partially made her feel better even though deep down she felt horrible he didn’t need to know that. She responded. “Thanks Damian that... means more to me then you know” She texted back. She was glad she had taken the weekend off for herself. She knew she had to face her brother. “Jamie I know your mad but I’m grown and I love you. I promise I know what I am doing.” She texted him.

He didn’t respond and she thought that was fine.... for most of the day she just cleaned and lounges around the house.

Damian had a good idea that she had put the money back since it was a case of ‘she didn’t actually need it’. Even as he was leaving the house to go deal with his job he was shaking his head slightly at Rose’s actions. She didn’t do anything just for herself… her actions were really always to take care of others. They always had been, and that was something that he did admire about Rose as well.

As he headed out, his thoughts couldn’t help but wander to what it would be like to have her. He knew it was only for one time, and Damian had been with plenty of women so he was sure he would be able to please her in a physical manner, but there were still a lot of unknowns playing around in his mind. He was in the middle of his job when she had texted him so his phone was on dead silent and did not even notify him which was fine, he’d get to her text later.

As he ‘finished up’ with the bloody broken man who owed fifty thousand to Don, he had cleaned up as well. The man was breathing and alive… but just barely.

It’s his own fault at this point… Don’s given him six months of leniency.

He knew fifty thousand dollars was a lot of money to most people, hell it was a lot of money to Damian, but at the same time, that amount wasn’t accrued ‘overnight’. That debt was over two years old of growing. So Damian didn’t really feel bad for the man in this situation. As he was leaving the job site he noticed he had a text from her when he turned his phone back into ‘regular mode’. Making sure to take off, he realized that he was hungry so he headed for Joe’s.

Joe’s was a grease pit that was famous within the city for their burgers, and Damian was hungry, so he headed there to get his favorite burger, though getting the blue cheese stuffed bacon burger with caramelized onions
Along with some fries, Damian settled down into the corner booth and making sure to ensure there were no other gang members or dealers in the place, he opened up her message.

“Thanks Damian that... means more to me then you know”

He smiled at that, though also noted that Jamie had sent him a few texts as well. At this point Jamie was being SUPER judgmental of Rose and Damian was tired of all the bitching, so he decided to ignore his friend for now. Instead, he typed into a new text for Rose.

I told you, I’m not going anywhere Rose.

He knew the next day she’d find out it was him, and in his eyes he also didn’t know how THAT would go over with her. Would she be disgusted that her friend wanted to have sex with her? Would she think that he had done it out of pity? Because THAT certainly wasn’t the case. For now, he left it at that and ate his burger in peace before he delivered the ten thousand that he HAD collected to Don and then head home.

Tomorrow was the ‘big day’. Everything would come to the surface between Rose and Damian then. She could still back out and not go through with it, but that wouldn’t solve her issues with her mom. She had to go through all of it in order to get in the clear. The hundred and fifty thousand would actually get everything set up to ensure her mom was going to get the best care AND they’d be able to pay off the house along with having some left over. There were things needing to be done in the house after all for her mom… the roof had been leaking for a year, the hot water tank was getting old… there was a lot of good Rose could do with that money.
One step at a time

Damian thought that one to himself for now and after eating he headed home. In the morning Rose would have a new email from the auction site with all the details of the auction which of course would also tell her that Damian LaSaro had been the bidder. After all she couldn't 'go through with it' if she didn't even know who had purchased her.

Damian had the morning off, so he was fully expecting wild texts or even perhaps a call from her... it was time to 'deal with it' so to speak.

She didn’t think she was being stupid for putting the money back after all this wasn’t for her this was for her family even if at the moment Jamie seemed to hate her, she hoped her mother would never find out she didn’t think Jamie would ever tell her. She took a deep breath and bit her lip she knew she was doing the right thing. She wished she could tell her brother the whole truth but at the same time, she knew it was best he didn’t know he had a family to take care of and like rose he would have done anything to save the house and not have there mother stress out.

She was heartbroken that her brother was reacting this way even if she did understand why he was upset. She felt a tear come to her eyes she was always close to her brother and knew this would clearly confuse him and put a huge dent in the relationship for the time being but when all was revealed he’d forgive her and understand. She thought about the air room, her family and most of all Damian how often she fantasized that he would be the one to take her as his own. She took a deep breath she was no longer a little girl and this was no fairy tale.

She sighed to herself eventually telling herself to take a nice hot bath and maybe order some fast food and veg out on her sofa and try and forget about tomorrow when she would learn more about the man that had brought her for the evening. God she really did sound like a high priced call girl. She was more ashamed in herself she knew then other people were, but rose had always been great at keeping things to herself as well. She breathed deeply as she carried her phone into the bathroom turning the water on hot and putting bubbles in as well.

She waited for the tub to Fill and get hot before she climbed in and enjoyed the heat on her bare skin she had already showered but this was to relax and soothe her. Her emotions and feelings were all over the place as she closed her eyes and tried to enjoy the quiet. She imagined all that could have been had things been different and reminded herself this once more was no fairy tale. It was her fairy tale and she was the maker of her own life she thought to herself. She hadn’t heard from Damien and decided that was for the best for a little bit anyway.

She finished her bath and dried up and changed. She just pulled on one of her fluffy robes and headed back to her bedroom before grabbing the Chinese menu and ordering her favorite Chinese meal. She shook her head and pulled out a book to do some light reading before the food came. His message made her feel warm and in a sense loved. She smiled and was at a loss for words so for now she decided saying nothing was better then saying anything stupid. She sighed and laid on her bed. Oh Damian if only you knew the truth she thought.

A half hour later she heard the bell ringing stating that her food had arrived she grabbed her food paid the guy and walked back to her bedroom. She decided to eat her food in bed, she enjoyed the comfort as it was now getting late, she was nervous about tomorrow but didn’t want to let on to anyone that she was. Shaking her head she ate what she could and put the rest in the fridge she grabbed a bottle of water and headed back to the bedroom and crawled back in under the big quilts that seemed to comfort her.

She had no idea what tomorrow had in store for her. She knew deep down that no matter who the man was she would not be backing out anytime soon. She didn’t want to think about any of that right now. All for you mom she thought all for you. As she thought that she knew this was all for the right reasons and then she didn’t feel so bad. She stared into space for a long time just enjoying the solitude her small home had given her. She knew she needed sleep before facing tomorrow so she took a Benadryl the only thing that ever helped her sleep when she had insomnia.

She crawled into bed knowing in the morning she would have many decisions to make but knowing no matter what she would still be going through with her plans. She fell asleep shortly after the pill and woke up refreshed and ready to face the world.....

Damian found that he was anxious as he woke the next morning. He blurredly picked up his phone and noted that there were no new jobs from Don which was on par with Damian’s policy especially when it came to more brutal visits such as he had done to their ‘client’. His reasoning was simple. The visit he had done would have sent the man to the hospital, which meant the involvement of the police. Too many jobs like that in quick succession was how many of Don’s enforcers as the man called them had ended up in jail.

So it was Damian’s policy that he would never do another job within twenty four hours of one of those jobs and he was honestly glad for it right now. Laying in his bed he opened up his email and read the confirmation email from the auction site on his end.

Congratulations!

Please see below the details of your transaction with our website. As noted in our previous interactions with you, all sales at this point are now final. The Seller's contact information is provided below for your convenience. Any further contact beyond this point will be impossible as the IP Address used to send these correspondences have post sending of this email been changed.

Beneath little spiel was indeed Rose’s contact information. The phone number of course Damian already had, but he also noted down her email in a digital note pad on his phone. Closing the email he did contemplate sending her a text but instead decided against it. Instead, he got up and went to make some breakfast. Damian figured she’d make contact sooner or later. Of course Damian didn’t know that Rose had secretly wanted Damian to have and take her. She may have thought that fairy tales couldn’t become reality, however reality was going to crash into headlong when she opened up her own email.

Her email from the site was almost a mirror of Damian’s except with his own contact information as well. Of course things were irreversible at this point, but Damian was going to ensure that Rose was his and had done so for QUITE the cost. Of course the transaction was only for a one time stand so to speak, but with Damian… perhaps things would go further. The future was full of unknowns!

The first time she knew she needed was to put on a pot of coffee when she awoke the next morning she felt a little drowsy from the medicine and she needed to have caffeine in her body before she found out the name of the man that had purchased her. She put the coffee on before taking a hot quick shower and pulling on a baggy tee shirt and tight jeans, she had no intentions of going out today, she would face the real world anew tomorrow. She walked barefooted to the living room grabbed her laptop and headed back to her kitchen opening it and placing it on her kitchen island.

She set it all up but didn’t open the auction page yet, first she grabbed her biggest mug and poured a hot cup of coffee and added more sugar and milk then there was coffee. She blew in the mug to cool out of some before she took a sip. She grabbed her mug and headed over to the open lap top. She had to remind herself to relax before she logged into the auction site. Opening it she sighed to herself before clicking on the link to her own personal page. She knew now that this was all very real. She knew the auction was final no backing out now she thought.

She breathed reading everything the auction had entailed and continued to read past everything where she would learn the information of the man that had wanted her. She bit her lip it was all very professional she thought and she had liked that fact. She read her information clarifying that everything was indeed correct. She stopped reading for a moment, as she took a long drink from her mug, some bourbon in this mug would be great right about now she thought with a snicker. You can do this rose she told herself.

She made some toast needing to coat her stomach before finally getting down to business she knew she was procrastinating but she also knew she had that right. Here goes nothing she thought to herself. She read down further noticing the email, shaking her head at the phone number.... however when she read the buyers name she felt shaky and sweaty all over. She must have read it wrong she thought to herself... no it was in plain bold letters. SOLD (DAMIAN LaSAro). She slammed her laptop closed. She grabbed her phone.... “Is this a joke?” She texted stunned. Someone had to be punking her.

She sent another text. “Someone is using your name.” She texted quickly. That could be the only excuse she thought to herself.

When Rose hadn’t contacted him within the first hour of his being up he figured she was still recovering from the auction night. He could only imagine the worries, the concerns of what type of person would spend that kind of money to purchase her virginity. It wasn’t an unknown thing to do, but it was certainly outside of the norm.

So, after Damian had finished his breakfast he had headed down to the personal gym that he had in his house. It wasn’t anything overly special, mostly a weight room. However it did have a few heavy bags for hitting and he felt like he should get some work in even though it was technically his day off.

Taking the time to wrap his hands Damian set into a work out of hitting the bag with various combo’s. He was well trained and also had his street smarts, so keeping himself in shape was something that was certainly important in Damian’s ‘line of work’. He was about half an hour into his workout when he heard Rose’s ping go off on his phone. Panting hard from the work he had put in, he finished his last round and then made his way over to his phone. As he was doing so he also was un-wrapping his hands when the second ping came through.

Damn girl, give me a minute…

Finishing stripping off the wraps though he did pick up his phone and seeing the first text he frowned slightly to himself, yet that didn’t take long to set into a determined expression as he opened up the board to type.

No One's using my name except myself.

Damian knew instantly what she was referring to, however he was quick to add a secondary text message.

I figured if I couldn't stop you from doing it, I would make sure you didn't have to do it with some stranger Rose.

He wanted to tell her that he had always wanted her… but for now Damian held that part back. She needed to believe firstly that he wasn’t pulling her leg, and secondly that he had actually gone and done what he had done before they could continue forward. What’s done was done, and the ramifications were solely between the two of them unless she told others.
