injustice of the day

But, you do argue "for" abortion, but in that camp,
I find many opinions on where to cut off a "woman's choice."

And one of those choices is right up to breach.
Another is after eight weeks.
Minor debate

because the procedure is a "settled" matter...

YDB's capacity for the denial of reality is fuckin' epic.

It's just a "massage" of reality.
A finding that the logical outcome of the debate is personally distasteful...

If a woman owns her body at one month, she still owns it eight months later.
Otherwise, it's just a political hypocrisy.

Or an indirect admission that abortion is an affront to humanity.

;) ;)

This case is nothing to do with abortion. The baby died because the mother is a drug user.

If she had been given and accepted services to help her drug addiction the baby might not have died.

But she was an addict. Addicts don't make sensible life choices even for themselves.

If this case is successful any pregnant woman could be a risk if she fails to comply with health advice. Smoking? A few drinks to celebrate? Overweight?

This list could be very long.

When it comes to Social (In)Justice,
Doin' right's got no end.

Abortions are now done with drugs and not coat hangars.
She just used an "unapproved" drug is all.

;) ;) TIC

No. She didn't use a drug to have an abortion. She used a drug because she is an addict.

So what else could a pregnant woman be tried for? Lack of exercise?

A stillbirth for no apparent reason?

Telling an offensive joke if she's in the UK.

Grooming gangs are ok though!! Gotta put that white privilege in check, anyone who disagrees is a racist!!

You're behind the times as usual.

Grooming gangs, who are not all Asian or Muslim, are being successfully prosecuted in the UK even for past offenses.

What about your own drug gangs? Or are they exempt because they might be black?

Yea, after years of protecting them for fear of being called racist.

"Don't stop the rapist, it might mean you're racist!! Let's go arrest the comedian for being white and offensive!! " LOL

That's the sad state of western Europe....they would rather risk their children's lives/safety than risk being called racist.

No I don't live in the UK or a "Progressive" states that desperately wishes they were the UK.

We enforce the law no matter their skin color.....no exceptions for darker skin.

Progressive states are doing that now, they want to be more like the UK.

Wrong again, asshole.

Grooming gangs are going to jail across the UK, and being outed by their own communities.

US police forces regularly walk past drug dealers. We prosecute them whoever they are. Brexit might mean we have fewer imported dealers from the EU. Many of the larger gangs are from Eastern Europe.

About what exactly??

Yea AFTER letting them go on about it for how many years because stopping brown rapist isn't PC???

US police forces regularly walk past drug dealers.

Only the corrupt ones, usually in blue metro shit holes.

Brexit might mean we have fewer imported dealers from the EU. Many of the larger gangs are from Eastern Europe.

Best of luck with that.

Yes, there is some debate. But contrary to what you're implying, no one wants elective abortions right up to the breach. What we are calling for is a right to medically necessary ones, to save the woman's life. (I wouldn't expect you to understand.) There is literally absolutely no evidence that any woman anywhere, ever, has tried to get an elective ninth-month abortion. It simply isn't a thing.

And neither is abortion with respect to this case, in which we're talking about a stillborn baby. They are two completely different things. What we DO see here is a perfect example of the completely foreseeable side-effect of some of the right's outlandish efforts to stigmatise abortion.

Woman abuses drugs

State prohibition

causing
unknown dosing

using in "dark alleys"

State makes abortion legal

Prevents "dark alleys"

State abuses woman

If she had been
in the

LIGHT?

Who is
guilty?

Now that raises an interesting point albeit expressed in the manner of e e Cummings...

Abortion was made legal to prevent tragedies, in fact it is a favorite election gambit of the hard Left
to accuse Republicans of wanting to put women back in the dark alley with a coat-hanger,
yet we keep drugs back in that dark alley so this woman's problem was lack of light,
lack of support, lack of services because of the drug addict's fear of the punitive, draconian drug laws.

Perhaps what we have here is less of a murderess and more of a victim.
If she had been in the light perhaps she would have been offered an abortion or
an avenue pursuant to a proper birth and if not motherhood, then perhaps adoption...

Something to ponder for sure (at least to me).

YDB's sticking his fingers in his ears again isn't working...yet again.

VOX says YDB is a fucking liar.

"Where it’s obvious that a woman is about to give birth,” Gilbert then asked, “would that still be a point at which she could request an abortion if she was so certified? She’s dilating.”

“My bill would allow that,” Tran said.

There is plenty more on google about what a fucking liar YDB is when it comes to this topic and his comrades position on the matter..

They all know the truth, but when the truth hurts, they deny it...

Like Peter, who is now a Saint. Three times he denied the light and the truth
when it was inconvenient to him to admit that he was with the criminal Christ.
He might have been the first true Liberal (even though they hate his religion).

Denial of the truth affords you the opportunity to 'fight' another day...

Put away your sword
Don't you know that it's all over.
It was nice but now it's gone.
Why are you obsessed with fighting?
Stick to phishing from now on...

;)

Et tu, Brute?
