FOUND IT.

I believe the MC is working for and lives with his uncle who owns a scrap yard. His 2 female cousins also live there. Uncle dies and MC and cousins inherit his assets. Included in the assets is a lifetime country club membership. Turns out the CC leases the property and MC threatens to terminate the lease.

No. The one I read he wasn't married. He had a fiancee who was encouraged by her parents to dump him because he wasn't "good enough" for her. Her family was rich and his wasn't.
