Angeline has asked me to post that she will be out of commission for a few days as she went into surgery today. I am sure you will all be thinking of her and wishing her well. She didn't say if she wanted me to say why she needs surgery so I will leave her to explain on her return.

Thanks to all for the love and good wishes. Last night I had two.herniated discs removed from my spine. I was in a car accident years ago and have periodic problems with my back as a result. This is the third surgery since then! It hurts Iike hell, but not today! The incision sites are sore, but NOTHING compared.to before the surgery! I'm hoping to be home Thursday or Friday. My son is with me and is gonna do it all until I'm back to normal. (Yes he is a very good boy. ).

Honey I've been shrinking the last few years anyway! No spacers; that would involve fusing my spine and I refuse to let them try. It's too risky!

I'm still in the hospital, now probably till Monday. Sigh. But I do feel better and am down to a minimum of pain drugs which I consider a triumph. I really, really miss my bed.

Was in a hip replacement surgery in Dec 2013 : luckily was back on my feet in 5 days .

I've had that same issue recently - was in the ER to be checked for possible retinal detachment. I was saved thanks to personal hotspots via my cell phone.
