Residency is a recurring issue in politics when it comes to serving in Washington.
Wednesday morning, Richard Mourdock stood in front of a home Sen. Lugar sold in July 1977. Lugar continues to claim that home at 3200 Highwoods Court as his legal residence because it was his last known residence in the state - even though he resides in Washington, DC. Mourdock is not challenging that since that is legal when it comes to instances of serving your country.
