Yes, you're quite right and often times even truth is stranger than fiction but I've seen quite a few comments, at the end of stories and in various threads that reckon an incest story needs to be believable to be hot.

There very well may be. Did you do a search and check?

Not all, of course, but many of us at Lit want to write quality stories. We want to write about things we know/like. Many of us want to add realism to the stories. So, if something doesn't plausible to us, we may not write it.

no we're not, for the most part: just overtly critical at times...

look, I've read really well-written stroke work out there on lit, and other sites, with way-out premises like that, where realism to some extent is suspended to increase the sexuality and the pairings of the stories as they progressed along - it just depends on what writers are willing to try and create, sometimes realism is appreciated, or at least the attempt at realism, sometimes it's a hinderance and isn't needed or liked.

I did a series called Naughty Boy which was pretty hot, and pretty unrealistic when it came to the first pairing, between the main character and his aunt, and it's probably about as unrealistic as I would want to take my work because, the more engrossed and plausible the work, the more I believe most readers enjoy it.

If you could make the stepfather and the stepdaughter relationship a little more 'real' - ie he lusts after her in private, in secret, she in turn is aroused by his leering and his actions, finds the 'daddy' figure a panty-wetter - and the wife/mother's reaction, at first at least, a little more rebuking, severe, angry at the husband for his betrayal and possibly the daughter also, then the readers would be, in my opinion, more accepting.

At first glance, this idea is ripe for being hard to write due to the complexity of all the characters and their individual sexual motives.

This would make the story like a zany "Brady Bunch" or "Yours, Mine, and Ours" spoof (as long as the kids have gone away to school).

I agree that most incest stories feature some of the worst dialogue written in all of Literotica.

I had made a story for the rp section before but it ran dead due to bad rpers joining and ruiening it for others.......but it was something like this:

2 Families, that are friends with eachother and live across the street, each of the families has incest relationships with each member of their own family.
And the story starts on a special day where the families agreed on a little swap.......the female of he families will swap from one house to the other and have sex with the other family.

it just sounded somewhere similair.
