Your spelling needs help. 
As for how long, that part really depends on you, if your just starting out, short is the best idea, if you want to do long that's fine just short is easier to do. As for readers, it doesn't really matter, people will read it if it is as long as War and Peace, or as short as 750 words. 750 is the cutoff number for publishing to literotica by the way.
There are fans of long and short, not to mention fans of third person, second person and first person. Not to mention fans of long thought out plots, and no plot, two people meet and fuck basically. It doesn't matter how you write it, there will be fans and haters.
I wish I could say the haters are the quieter ones, sadly the quiet ones ar ethe fans, the haters are really vocal and apparently not always hate your works because it is bad or strikes a nerve.
Just a friendly warning, no matter what your story is about, you will get bad reviews, and many of those probably will not talk about your story, instead they talk about how fucked up you are for writing the story. Luckily mostly those people are in the loving wives section so stay away from there unless you got a thick old skin.
Oh, if you don't know yet, there is a section for volunteer editors to be found. You will want to go there and find one when the story is finished. Cuts down on the hate mail.

Er ... I'm so not sure I agree. A really good short story (ignoring pure stroke stories) is very difficult to write. You have to introduce at least two characters, show their previous interaction, show the actual incident(s) which are your story, and then find a convincing finish. Doing all that in less than (say) 1500 words is difficult.
