could actually be an interesting story - the conspiracy people hard at work selling the end of the world in 2012. on the days leading up to the assumed end, people go mad, creating mayhem - rape and pillage and seeking out forbidden sex, openly fucking whoever they want.

but then what do they do when the world doesn't end? how do they face one another? themselves? their actions?

That, too me, would be the best part of the tale... The aftermath. Is Mom and Sis pregnant? Did a convicted rapist, who broke out of prison, just help repopulate a town? lol

It could be like the Y2K shit where NOTHING happened, or like "what happens to the survivors after the next big bang".

I had a similar thought, though of course it was invading aliens hiding behind a meteor type instead of 2012.

In the last months of 2012, everyone is hoping the whole things is just a hoax. The closer it gets to Dec 21 however, the more people start to freak out. A girl confesses to her older brother that she likes to watch him naked. A father confesses to his oldest daughter that he steals her underwear and masturbates with it, hoping she might catch him doing it. Since the end of the world is looming everyone is already drunk all the time, so when they notice these feelings of attraction toward family members now they are inclined to run with them. Many people will shut themselves off from the world in depression, which leaves them shacked up in their houses with no one but their family to turn to for comfort.
