Got the laptop back (for those few who knew it had stopped workin here on the Lit boards), so YAY FOR ME!
This is sort of like a Lost-esque idea, thou without the weird monster shite and constant peril.
Family is somehow marooned on a deserted island while on holiday in south Pacific, I think only the family itself will be on the island, no outsiders... everything that they need to live comfortably is there, food and water in abundance, and shelter is provided by the stud-son, Peter.
I'm thinkin that there's a mother char, her daughter, and her son - no dad, this is the staple single-parent family.
Nobody knows where they are, so they have to live off the land and try to keep sane.
