Incest idea - feel free to use it

Brother and sister grow up together since they are babies.

But then as they turn of age, they find out they are completely unrelated. Their parents married when they already each had a baby son and baby daughter.

Siblings explore sex together from there, because they feel like they get along better than any boyfriends and girlfriends they've had over the years.
They still feel like they are doing something forbidden, but not really.

This is a pretty common setup. How do you visualize the story developing and ending? Is it a sweet romance, and / or comi-tragic or what? How do you want readers (yourself included) to react?

If I was writing it, I would first show characters struggle and disappointed with their relationships.
Then when they find out they are unrelated and eventually start having sex with each other, they grow closer and closer. And eventually get married.

So yea, I'd make this a "perfect couple" romance type of story, where they are so comfortable with each other that there's next to no tensions or problems they encounter.
They will have to struggle with others' disaprooval, to add drama, but it all ends nice.

But I'm not the one to request particular stories to be written. I just had this idea, understood that there's too much in my head to really explore it, and decided to share.
Whoever picks it up can do whatever with it. I'm not really that much into incest, so I didn't know how common this scenario is.

In LIT fantasyland? Not uncommon. In Real Life? Not common. But hey, that's entertainment!

The great thing would be to build up their desire to eat the forbidden fruit, the struggle with them (one of them?) doing the incest, their acceptance of the incest, reveling in the incest, the revealing of the real relationship, their despair as they realize the only reason they were attracted to one another was because of its taboo.

You could leave the story there or carry it over to a group sex or loving wives category type story.

Loving wives? Nah, I'm not suicidal. They would eat me alive for any kink in their turf, especially incest.
