Inability to delete?

Sorry, I misposted a message that was meant to appear in another thread. I am permitted to edit this post, but not to delete. Now why would that be? At any rate, I have removed original message, but cannot remove this rambling notice.

Down on the lower right of the posted message window is a link named "Edit". Just click on it.

As far as I know the "delete" function (you'll see it on the top of your "edit" window) has never worked. I think you have to email the board's moderator to actually delete a post. It's easier to just cut all the text and put in a smiley.
