There are very few new ideas, I very much doubt this really new but my idea is set in the future let’s say 3030 the world has almost been destroyed by the greed of me and mars is now colonised since the terraforming in the early 30s. The young have made this there home and the life on Mars has made women more dominant and they desire more than most men can offer.

So robot houses have been set up to service the need of women. The women have total control of the sex robots including aperance, size, style of sex, setting. However some women are using these robots to to the extreme, experimenting in a way that no man cold ever do.

Anyway that’s my idea anyone got any thoughts? Love KF

Humanity will have cybernetic organisms by then, gene-crafted from various sources, like C'Mell of the cat people or D'Ronn of the dolphin people. No inorganic robots -- living sex slaves. But will they overcome their programming and demand equality, or just go subversive? Will woman-dominated Mars fall to the sexual wiles of flesh-borgs?

A great story is not about the novelty of an idea. It's all about presentation of it. Your idea may be as cliche as it can get, and it'll still be a great sucess if you write it correctly. And it can be as innovative as ever, and still be completely forgotten and ignored, if your writing sucks.

Just go to tvtropes website and search for any popular trope. You'll see dozens if not hundreds of real gems in the list, as well as hundreds if not thousands of complete garbage.:cattail:

Thank You

Thank you both for your input I am not sure if it’s somthing I could write. I am not good at science and technology how it would all work. I suppose the idea of sex robots is nothing new I think in the film A.I there was a gigalo played Jude Law so others have thought of this before.

You don't really need to go into technical detail to write about it. No reader wille xpect you to explain some intricacies of AI and robot building.
Even more than that - when we actually arrive to a point where we can make a robot with a computer brain that'll be able to support realistic AI - it will probably be not a silicone-based computer. You don't even really need to explain that.

If you want, you can do basic research into robotics and, for example, shape-shifting materials and how they work. An our on wikipedia should give you lots of thought. From there, you can create your own made-up material, that, for example, your robot will be coated with and it morphs to simulate the desired appearance. You don't need to name that, because your normal person don't know the names of 99% of polymers and compounds used to make up things in their houses. You definitely don't need to describe the mechanics of how it works. All you need is to describe the result. It's really cool if you CAN make a real-world reference and put a scientific base under your story, but you don't have to.

From there - just write it. Your first story may suck, but your next one will be better.

Also, here's the thing. Ideas are worthless. Any person who enjoys writing stories probably has dozens if not hundreds of ideas they want to write, and not enough time to develop them all. So chances that someone's gonna write your story is rather slim, unless it's a commissioned work. I do commissions, for example, but I expect money for them.:cattail:
