I'm not new to lit. I'm not new to online relationships. I have had a few and each was uniquely wonderful and taught me so much, however they never got their time in the light. I was married. That's right. Like so many that may be reading this, I constantly sought to fill the loneliness within my marriage here on the personals and message boards. I am proud yet terrified to say I'm making the hardest decision of my life so that can change.

I'll start with me that way you can quickly pass if you'd like before I get to what I'm looking for.

I'm 40, athletic, and a business owner in the Chicago area. I'm kind, caring and compassionate and pride myself in being a good gift giver. I prioritize experiences over objects yet I do enjoy nice things (especially bougie coffee). I drive a Jeep Wrangler (I like sharing that as that usually says a lot about a person). I have 2 wonderful humans who call me Dad. I love to hike, run, swim, travel and go to concerts and festivals (and yes I want someone to do those things with). I'm a little kinky and could have easily put this in the BDSM personals but honestly I'm just looking for a connection. I crave the kind of wonderful deep intimate connection that can only come from trust and understanding. I will also share what I look like as a physical connection is important as well.

Now You *raises an eyebrow*
A sense of humor has to be the most important thing right? Nothing is so serious in this life that we can't have a laugh about it. I'm independent and would like you to be as well. It was codependency that was a large factor of my marriage ending. I ask that you be single (I can't believe I said that), and major bonus points if you're from the Chicago area.

I don't want to narrow it down to deep because I want you to say hi! I have no idea if this will work but you miss 100% of the shots you don't take right?

Final Thought. When my divorce is final I think I'm going to go to the Smoky mountains and hike Mount LeConte. Want to go with me?
