There was a time when sodomy was an actual crime. Now same-sex marriage is not only legal, but accepted by most sectors of society.
RWs today fuss about transgender rights because that's the next thing -- but even that will die down eventually.
In terms of race relations, it is impossible to the point of inconceivable that our society will ever go back to things as they were in the 1950s, let alone the 1850s. And political pressure will eventually cause police departments to reform to the point where BLM no longer has anything to complain about.
Feminists will eventually win their equal-pay agenda, and that will become established as one of those many things from which there is no going back.
The only sector where RWs have any hope of real long-term success is economic -- and that is only because the rich have political power far out of proportion to their numbers, and RW politics are (mostly*) good for making the rich richer.
*OTOH, the Trump movement is based on a not-very-clearly-articulated nationalist populism, which is amenable to things like economic protectionism and immigration restrictions, which the now-global corporations don't like, but can easily deal with and prosper under.
