In Search of Women's Opinions on Male Pubic Hair

I read through the The Blank Manual and did not see this topic under the Male tab. Please forgive this newbie if this topic has been beaten to death.

I semi-regularly trim the hair down the there. On occasion this act gets me incredibly horned up. In turn, I go much further than the simple trim. At times I've shaved my balls and taint. Other times, I've shaved my pubes into a racing stripe or completely off.

With that said, my intention of this post is to obtain women's (feel free to join in guys) opinions regarding the grooming of a man's pubic hair.

Can anybody help this newbie out?

Personally, prefer trimmed. Never tried bare, so I might like that too, dunno.

I'm a guy, but I'll give you my opinion.

I frequent nude beaches a lot. Seems like many guys (and almost all girls) these days trim their pubes down to the skin. It's a nice look, gives you an apparent extra inch or so of cock length, and makes it that much more likely that a young lady will be willing to slurp you into her gullet. Nothing wrong with that!

On the other hand, there are those hirsute beings such as myself that would look ridiculous with a bald pubic patch, because the rest of our bodies are covered with hair from head to toe! So in my case, I just make it a point of trimming it down to a half inch or so of length, thus maintaining my consistent carpeted look, but with less chance of gagging a potential sex partner.

I think most wives would say that.

I'm a hairy guy, but I trim it all to a manageable, very short length from head-to-toe without letting the hair become prickly or show too visibly against my skin (I have fairer skin and dark body hair). My wife loved me when I was hairy, too... but even she admitted after I started trimming that she prefers the trimmed look and feel to the thick mat of hair that otherwise grows. We're swingers, and the women I have the privilege of getting horizontal with seem to much prefer that look/feel as well.

Just my well-researched $0.02... break out the clippers and give it a try.

Trimming makes it feel like its easier to access everything I want to on my man and means that he doesn't have to mess around with a razor all the time. So I guess it depends on how much time you have to spend on upkeep and how much you enjoy trimming down there vs. shaving!

Just to follow up on this, I tried shaving versus trimming. Shaving (for a guy with course body hair) leaves behind too many ingrown hairs. It itches and for guys who have to shave their whole body, it has to be done at least every 48 hours at a minimum. Even at my fastest, it still took 30 minutes to shave from head to toe. I learned to sympathize with women quickly. I shaved for months, but I never got past the irritation and discomfort shaving brought.

Trimming, on the other hand, leaves a little bit of hair, but the hair is soft, it can't in-grow, and there's no shaving bumps or irritation. My advice to the hairy guy is to trim, not shave. I do shave my cock and balls, but that's it.

My guy usually trims and shaves his balls and crack. Sometimes he shaves it all. I like the trim/shave combination best (on myself, too) because there's no stubble a couple of days later, increased sensation is a definite plus, and I find licking/sucking hairy balls to be exceedingly distasteful.

Sorry I think its gay for a man to shave or trim pubic hair. If a guy is a het, I can't imagine him paying that kind of attention to his body hair at all. I guess I'm old school 80s all the way.

Ideally, I don't like women to shave or trim either. I'm turned on by pubic hair on women. Honestly, I wouldn't even mind if they didn't shave their underarm hair, maybe even their legs. Body hair is normal. Facial hair is another story entirely.
