"In Preview"-- What does that mean?

I checked on a new story I'd submitted last Saturdayto see if it was posted yet, and in the box were it tells you the status, it said, "In preview, needs to be submitted."

I've never seen anything like that. Does anyone know what it means?

It means you "previewed" your story once you pasted it in the box and didn't actually submit it. Click on the link and make sure you hit submit or save changes or whatever the button says.

I have seen pending, but never this. Perhaps submit again with a note to Laurel? Sorry I cant help.

Thanks, Crimmy. You were right. This was the first time I'd ever previewed a story, to make sure the Italics came out right, and I guess I never submitted it. I just previewed it and left it there. I hit the "submit" button now, so I guess it's back to the end of the queue.

Same thing happened to me the only time I ever previewed anything. When I finally figured it out, I felt a little silly. Seems like maybe I'm not alone though. That's good to know!
