In need of a bit of guidance

... I feel my title may have been a bit of a teaser, but oh well, I am unrepentant. Anyhow, to business-- I'm young and pretty new to BDSM and I'm looking for some advice. Either tips on starting out from personal experience or someone to point me in the direction of some informative literature either online or in print. If my tone comes off as a bit stiff and formal (color me self-concious, but it certainly does reading things back in my head) i really don't mean it to. At any rate anything anyone has to say will be much appreciated

Just wanted to pop in and say thank you to both of you who replied. I've checked out both websites and they were very helpful, especilly sexuality.org.
Definitely gald to get some more information.

Check your area for munches. A place where bdsm people get together in a social setting (usually restaurant or pub). No pressure and usually run by someone who has been in the lifestyle and can point you in the right direction if you are interested.
