In case no one's seen it, this is a ten minute snippet from a ballet performed in 2005. The crutches motif is disturbing, and yet beautiful and moving. It did remind me of the returning war veterans, struggling with their disabilities. (Plus, the dancers are topless!)
The weird part - I had to go pick up my brother at the hospital the other day. He broke his hip riding his bicycle, and was hopping around on crutches 4 days later, after a total hip replacement. So after I dropped him off at his place, I went home to waste ten minutes perusing the latest video snippets posted at a couple of my favorite sites, and this one popped up. The timing was perfect.
