In Her Middle Dug It Out

This poem is mentioned in the new poems thread. It's a really good one, huntsman. I look forward to reading more of your work!

thank you

I've just come from adding two more poems.
And I wrote one yesterday, and another today.
Thank you for your encouragement.

The Huntsman

(as well, your moniker reminds me of a poem I wrote called "Eye, and Eve, Deceived." I'll see about polishing and posting it.)

done

The "Eve" poem, along with three others, has been submitted.
As a side note,
was not the original Eve, the wicked woman, Lilith?
I wouldn't have spread my seas for any human, or Adam for that matter.

I've read several slightly different versions of the Lilith myth. She was supposed to have been Adam's first wife -- the "Original Eve," the "Wicked Eve."
Don't you think Wicked Eve rolls off the tongue more smoothly than Wicked Lilith?

Lilith faileth wickedly

Yes, I do.
Added a few more poems...
I wish they appeared in the index sooner!

I am glad that you are familiar with the early myths.
Their understanding is crucial to the tedious "Eve" poem forthcoming. Particularly, the definitions of Adam, "red earth" - which I interpret "bloodied soil" - and Eve, which I interpret "breath of soul."
I hope you will aid me in its future re-construction.
Under the aspect of eternity,

Ihmara
