In China. Alone.

I am going to Beijing to be in a language program, and I wanted to know if there was anyone who lives (or visits frequestly, or will be there at the same time I will) in Beijing that would be interested in having tea sometime.

I'm going there, and I won't know anybody. By the time I leave (at the end of January), I will have met people, obviously, but I want be around someone who I know shares my interests (at least in Lit).

Unfortunately, I don't yet speak Mandarin fluently, but I do speak both English and French fluently, so I don't think communication should be a problem.

I'm leaving for China in mid-September. (In a week, in fact.)

Hmm, well I will be in Macau off and on for the next three months on a consulting assignment. Too far from Beijing unfortunately, unless i can swing a trip there with this work.

Just when I need to brush-up my French too.
