In bad horror/disaster flicks, why does the black guy always the first to die?

I'm NOT making this up. There's an incredibly bad tornado/nuclear power plant disaster flick on TV. As soon as a black male character appeared, my kid correctly predicted he would be the first to die. She's loves movies, and named three others where it happened - two of which I've seen in he past couple of months.

Anyway, as soon as he was killed, I'd had enough.

Anyone else noticed this? Next time you see this type of movie, see if it happens!

Wait a minute. There's a movie that features both a tornado and a nuclear power plant disaster and you're intentionally watching it? Please tell us it's just for the research.

It didn't happen in................

"Men In Black"

OK try this on for size....how come when there's a black president in a movie, the world is about to end?

examples...

Deep Impact

The Fifth element

No shit! I am watching that movie right now....

I laughed my way through it.

Loved the scene with the leaky pipe marked RADIOACTIVE.

Looked like a grade D anti-nuke flick. Bad. Really bad.

Ok..how come I have the urge to watch that damn thing over again on the instant replay???? Someone pass the good drugs.

If it wasn't bad enough the first time around, they are repeating a second showing of it now.

Now where the hell is the remote.....

Amazingly enough there is an actual answer for this.

I know the answer. Because there qre people who actually pay money to watch that shit. And enjoy it.

Hated Indy Day. Blechhhhh

MOVIES ARE SO STEREOTYPED........

1) Why when a man and a woman is running from a villian or monster, the woman has to fall?

2) Why when a white family is living in a haunted or pocessed house, they never move until either everything is destroyed or nearly everyone is dead?

3) Why when a villian is chasing someone in a building, the first place that the chased person run to is UP, as opposed to running down stairs or an elevator?

It also wasn't a bad disaster/horror flick.

Neither did it happen in "The Blob".

Black guys sometimes die last:
LL Cool J in that shark movie
and the guy in Leviathan- yay late night bad movies.

The movie is ATOMIC TWISTER. The black guy is Carl Lewis. HE can win gold medals for running, but can't outrun a twister to save his life. Wonder who thought of that casting maneuver.

Someone kills Carl Lewis and thats a bad thing?

Black people hadn't been invented back then. BTW, that was one of Steve McQueen's first movies.

Didnt a black man survive in the original Night of the Living Dead?
