I know the rules about nobody under 18, even though I disagree with them I won't break them. But what I want to know is, is it okay to mention somebody under 18 having sex? Would saying something like "She's been having sex since she was 12" be okay, as long as I don't give any too much details?

Thanx..

I believe, and don't quote me on this, that it's all right to mention a person having sex at a young age, but you do not describe a sex act with a person in it under 18. No details at all. Just the bare fact that this person was active at a young age. Try not to use actual ages in your story, and merely say something about being very young or old enough. That's too vague to make anyone too upset.

Under 18

Take it from someone that inadvertantly did that....yes. Its perfectly fine to mention someone "had" sex...experienced this that or the other thing....but you cannot indicate the person having sex (now) is under the age of 18. That's a sure fire bonafide way to get your story yanked!
