Impasse

Has anyone considered the idea for a story where there is an impasse about marital fidelity or other such issues that is never truly resolved? The spouses each do what they want, but neither accept or approve the deeds of the others. They live together and even love each other still, and never divorce, but never fully reconcile their feud.

Hmm... a tricky one.

This will not appeal to vast numbers of the get-fucking-quick brigade as you actually seem to want a story here... you know, something with that weird thing, a plot.

There might even be some character description in this one... you know, something with more than '36dd' in it.

How original.

How refreshing.

You won't have much of an audience but, hey, let's pander to élite interests occasionally, why not?
