One Pro-Terrorist to another. Seems fitting.

I think you mean imam, unless the supermodel is also involved in the mosque for some reason.

Anyway, here's something else he said:

At an interfaith memorial service for the martyred journalist Daniel Pearl, Imam Rauf said, ‘If to be a Jew means to say with all one's heart, mind, and soul: Shma` Yisrael, Adonai Elohenu Adonai Ehad; Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One, not only today I am a Jew, I have always been one. If to be a Christian is to love the Lord our God with all of my heart, mind and soul, and to love for my fellow human being what I love for myself, then not only am I a Christian, but I have always been one.’

Terrorist!!!

Last thing we want is for the middle east to think that America doesn't hate them and think their lead religion=terrorism. The results could be catastrophic.

Muslims lie. It's what they do.

LOOK UP HUDNA!...........among other things

Sonny Imaloonah!

You bigots realize that this culture war that you're starting is exactly what the terrorists want, right? You are, in essence, working for them. With people like you shouting bigoted, hateful things, you fuel extremism, period. You let yourselves become extremists, therefore extremists from the other side will rise up to meet you.

You abandoned your American values of tolerance and acceptance of other cultures and ways of life. You blame one billion Muslims for the acts of twenty extremists. Never, EVER doubt that you're doing the terrorists' work.

Awwwwwwwww Sonny, that brought a tear to my eye.

One would think that such a compassionate man would understand how building a mosque at ground zero may make other people feel uncomfortable )and would therefore select another location - the real estate market is pretty good right now for buyers).

You're right, there is no counter argument against stupid.

But you go ahead and use your "blame the victim" excuse in a courtroom some day, when a woman was raped because she dressed slutty.

How big is the no-mosque zone supposed to be? There's already a mosque 4 blocks away and you say that 2 blocks is too close. So is 3 blocks the sweet spot then?

You make as much sense as Jeninflorda. Which is none.

You have no counter-argument because you simply can't deny that you're doing exactly what the terrorists want.

What would that be, exactly? Living a life of freedom, speaking my mind as per my God given rights?

Fuck you.

He essentially says he's greatful that Obama didn't give up his American values. He's showing the people of Bahrain that America really stands for something and that the fabric of our nation will not be compromised.

No matter how much people like you want to compromise it.

As he already bought a property, he'd be a seller before he could afford to buy.

Would you buy it?

Anyway, this whole sensitivity thing. Is anybody defending and explaining their discomfort and their being offended in any way, shape or form that can make a reasonable person understand it?

If their discomfort is just bred out of bigotry and mindless hate, fuck 'em right in the solar plexus. I'll come over and put the first shovel in myself. And I'll add a minaret to the design just because. If it's not bigotry and mindless hate.... what is it then?

No, speaking your mind and attacking Islam is definitely a right. I'm not suggesting otherwise so chill the fuck out.

What I am saying is that you're using your rights to be a bigot and throw gasoline on simmering cultural tensions - EXACTLY like the terrorists want you to.
