Imagine if you will...

You are visiting a foreign country on a business trip. The business owner you are here to visit has brought you to his *posh* home, introduced you to his family, all of which speak your language, along with an adult niece (or nephew!) that you find very attractive, that is staying with them for the summer. After a very pleasant evening that (per the schedule!) includes no discussion of business, but rather conversation mostly between you and the senior members of the local family that compare/contrasts your two countries, it is time for everyone to go to bed. For this, jet lag is extremely helpful, and you are quickly sound asleep.

...until you note you are not alone, and that attractive family member is now spooning you. What do you do?


I'm thinking this would be a nifty idea for one of those "choose your own adventure" books.

'foreign customs' are always a useful fantasy hook.

Having to satisfy the matron of the hosting family can be wonderful or horrible, depending.

Contact with the left hand in any way is offensive.

Kissing is 'nasty' but oral is a proper way to greet a superior.

Groping a woman's tits is expected and usual, but touching her ass is a deadly insult.

Skin-to-skin contact is allowed and expected, but touching anyone through their clothes is a massive insult. Of course this makes lots of jobs we expect and are used to difficult or impossible, and others we'd never expect become possible or even common.

Showing someone the sole of your shoe is as offensive as flipping them off.

So many options - and some of the above are examples from the Real World, whatever that is supposed to be....

I read that, long ago, the custom in Madagascar was that women were allowed to chose their own mates, and would bring a certain dish to feed the man they chose, though this custom ended because of too much friction with the rest of the world.
