Had a slight mishap this morning - slammed my index finger in the car door.
First time ever I have done it!
But, as is always the case, the first and only time is a doozy
I've lifted a big chunk of skin off the end of my finger, and I have no feeling in the tip. The x-ray shows I have 2 small bone chips off the end of my finger floating around in there.
So the ER doc has referred me to plastics before they stitch or glue me back together.
And now the wait really begins.... I overheard one of the nurses say that the plastics guy has to come from the next town.

Heh - I have never, EVER slammed a finger in a door before!
For accident-prone me, that was kinda a bragging point

I haven't taken anything yet, because the ER people say I may need surgery. So I'm just sitting here, finger in the air, waiting for someone to do something constructive.

They have magazines from 10 yrs ago and hard vinyl chairs that are giving me a numb bum!

It predicts the words as I swype and then all I have to do is tap to choose.
I don't know why I never used this before!
I'm loving it! I have the phone resting on my bag on my lap and I'm just touching the screen.

I might have a go at using the voice function next. All I have to do is 'train' the phone to my voice and it'll type what I say.
