So I'm sure you all remember when I went crazy and posted a picture of my pet Jack, my Oriental Firebelly Toad. Yes, he's still around and doing well and for the past six months or so I have had another Oriental Toad like Jack except he's brown because he was bred out of season; he's a cutie; anyway, his name is Adolf. Nice, huh? :D

So I was at the boy's friend/bass player's house a week and a half ago getting drunk and playing Cranium (we won, yay! I'm a good drunk board game player!) So his friend had caught a frog the day before and they couldn't keep it because they knew nothing about taking care of it. Well once they caught wind of me already having two frogs they offered him to me. He didn't even have a name or a tank big enough to accomodate his outrageous size so I brought him home and named him Plato! (I rule at naming pets, I know.) So I have pictures!

The first one attached is of Jack and Adolf (Jack is green, Adolf brown) and the second is the newest addition, Plato!

Yay, I'm the frog lady now!

My daughter is starting a zoo, I'm so proud of you.
I'm a frog granny.

We acquired a new member to the family today as well. She is tiny and red, and has black spots all over her body. And she is called Linda the ladybird :)

Find a rosebush with some aphids on it. Linda will love it.

I once watched one eat for two hours straight. Didn't even stop to belch. :D

That is why she is called a "lady" bird ;)

I'm jealous--all my frogs are 'maginary or stuffed.

Aw, you should go to the pet store and get yourself two. Yes, two; they tend to like company. Oriental Firebellies are the easiest pets to take care of hands down. They like a tank, the one I have mine in is a 10 gallon which is more space than they need but they love it when they get all hyper. It only costs me two dollars a week to feed them (10 crickets each at 10 cents a piece) and they don't necessarily need to be played with much or anything. I have Jack and Adolf spoiled so bad; I got them when they were both very young and trained them to love to come out and hop around and Jack will lay down on my chest and just sleep for hours; it's great.

PMSL!

I forgot I told you about that. They are indeed, anyone need to get married? They have certificates and everything!

Can you imagine the wedding announcements??

Well they're in mating season right now...So it could get interesting.

It's so cute, it sounds like little tiny dogs barking in the distance.
Am I the only one who thinks that's cute?

I should ordain Draco.

I'll collect flys for the offspring, my great grandchildren.

You really should, I need to ordain Plato soon.
You should see Plato eat! 10 crickets gone in 15 minutes.
