Monk and I have decided to try out Ireland for a while. Mind you, this is still in the preliminary stages, but it looks like a "go." If you were young, restless, wanting to see the world: where would you choose to live?

I don't know if I could pick one country. I do so wish I had lived in Europe, after college.

Hmm. I guess it's never too late. I've grown stagnant in my comfort. Myst, you shake me up, baby.

Anywhere but here

Seriously, I want to tour the world. I want to see everything. I only have one life to do it in after all.

Atta boy !

That's the attitude.

I'd pick......

Germany. I loved it there when I was stationed there in the 90's.

Another pic would be Greece. Love the food!!

This is an interesting thread. There are so many places I wouldn't mind living for a while.

Cities:
Edinburgh
Dublin
Amsterdam
Copenhagen
Stockholm

( Partly because the population of above cities either speak English or a large proportion of the population speak English really well as a second language).

Other Cities:
Paris
Rome
Prague
Venice

Regions:
Tuscany
Provence
Loire Valley
Highlands of Scotland
Rural Ireland
One of the Greek Islands

Barcelona, there's another one.

Too many places, too little time. I want another life time, how do you apply for that ?

España...

I would have to say Spain , my father's ancestors are from there and I would like to see where they are from ... and the culture is so pretty.

:)

I wouldn't live anywhere but here. I would like to spend some extended time in Scotland and visit the ancestral castle SE of Edinburg. :D

If I could pick anywhere...I'd definatly have to say back to where I was born. Germany.

Hmhh would have to be some place I knew the language cause I suck at launguages and I am not learning anymore.

So that means either English or Spanish(perhaps Portugese since they are closely related) speaking countries.

So top of the English speaking countries would be New Zealand.

Top of the Spanish speaking ones would be Spain.

I think I would probably end up going with Spain since New Zealand is just so remote but I am not positive.
