Greetings all.
Yes, I'm still alive, though the past several years has not been good. I was in a state of poor health (dealing with Type-2 diabetes, heart trouble & my legs going bad), and nearly lost my home a few times due to increasing rent & cut-back work hours.
However, things have improved somewhat, and I hope to be more active again here on Lit.
Especially since I looked back at a bunch of unfinished/unpublished stories, and gotten the notion to get some finished for posting here on the site.
First off, the 2nd part of one story "My Sister Dee" is in the final stages of being finished/polished. This one I've wanted to finish for a LONG time. I've also brushed off the one thorn in my writer's side, "Wet Cinnamon", and am working to make it a complete story, rather than just the one-off "experiment" that I started it out for.
I'm hoping this will continue on with more stories to come, and hopefully a few entries for the seasonal contests ahead.
In any case, I hope everyone is doing well, and look forward to interacting with new readers, old friends and more in the months ahead. Thanks for reading!
