I'm sorry, but it seems that by posting about the GLBT on the GB

might provoke MORE trolls to come here than to repremand the few who do.

But I don't know, time will tell.

See, never invite straight people. They just fuck things up.

He's teaseing me Angel, since I'm straight and have been posting here since the begining. Does that help?

I was just curious. I had no idea who you prefered to bonk ;)

I perfer to bonk men. Bi men are my fantsey.

And my daughter is bi, and her boyfriend is bi, and my godson is gay, and my best friend is gay, and 4 of the nicest people I know here are gay, and...

And I'm a mom, and if any of my kids were gay I'd fight for them to have a happy life. And if I fight for gay rights now, then when my grandchildren are about and if one of them is gay maybe it will be an OK world for him/her.

My godson and I laugh and he calls me his "Fairy Godmother". lol.

Have a great day.

Oh, I wonder who this thread is addressed to? Let me guess... It's right on the tip of my tongue... it's.. it's..

No, I lost it.

Sometimes, PoliteSuccubus, I get the feeling you don't like me.

Well, fortunately the Alphabet board is moderated, so we don't need to worry about trolling quite so much as the GB.

I hate Canada. It's so cold and I have no warm and sexy Never to snuggle with. I'm taking a trip down to Texas; we'll lie under the full moon and let the sounds of our pleasure roll across the prairie like the howl of coyotes.

Why, april-wine, I had no idea... ;)

Come and watch? I don't think so.
If I have my way, you'll come and cum.. and cum.. and cum.

I'm certain april-wine will agree.

Never, you shouldn't ever feel that way coz it's not true.

I promise.

And I haven't figured out a way to make certain threads that say what I want to say that are sparked by what someone else says but not about them.

When I can there's one I want to post about trolls that sparked from a convo I had with some lit friends, but then people will think it's about them. Esp if they are a troll. Even more esp if they are MY troll.

But it wouldn't be. It'd be a topic.

But when I say that, no one belives me. *heavy sigh and queit sob*

PS, if you say you like me than I'll believe you. I'm that easy.

I'm not certain now if my thread in the GB or your conversation with a friend sparked this thread. I'm not even certain if you realized I started a thread in the GB about the GBBQ.

However, I never thought this thread was *about* me but addressed to me. I have no problem sparking threads; I've sparked about three of them tonight. However, none of the three pointed out negative consequences to something I'd done. If you start a thread that 1. Has a negative tone 2. Is a reaction to something I've done, and 3. Doesn't even mention me then I'm left trying to make assumptions.

People are always going to look for the motives behind your threads. It sucks, yes. I wish I could take all threads at face value but I've been at Lit for too long. :(

If you had stated that you were just wondering what the consequences of my post were then I would have believed you. I have no reason to think you're a liar and the majority of people here have no reason to either, cause you're not. Of course, personal trolls are a different matter. The reason they're trolls is because they twist what others say and abuse posters.

Politics, politics, politics. Who knew message boards were so foolish?

Hmm, maybe if I beg prettily enough, and promise to be a good girl.

Does this mean you're not trying to steal my girl away?

:D

PS, don't worry about your posts on the GB attracting the trolls. Most won't bother to come to a moderated board. That's part of the value of this board, IMO. There is a moderator that can deal with the riffraff, especially when they begin trolling. But there will be the bigots and idiots that will wander in here, no matter what or where you post.

Er... yes, that's it. Just send her down here and I'll promise to give her back. Scout's honor!

*crosses fingers behind back*

Hey Never;

lol, can't have you wandering about confused.

Yes, my post was sparked by your post on the GB, but since I wasn't against YOU in anyway I didn't mention you.

I now see that I should have said something like "Never's post got me thinking..."

Around here if you catch a spark off of something someone else says but you don't have bad feelings about that person then you don't mention their name because what you are saying isn't to be a reflection on them...just a thought.

But since this is like the 2ed or 3ed time it's happened to me I'm thinking maybe on Lit people look at it different. Like by not mentioning them you're being snide.

Since that is never my intention I've got to think of a different way to post without being negative other than the way I grew up with.

Does that make sense?

New to GLBT

Hi all, I have been on the GB since I joined Lit. Pollyjean told me to come and check you guys out cause your a lot nicer. So I posted my thread to her on this forum. Thank you all how replied to both of them. You give great advice. Hope to have terrific conversations with you all and get to know you better.

Re: New to GLBT

PoliteSuccubus,
There's the way things ought to be... and then there's the way things tend to turn out. I feel for you. I sometimes feel like I have to tip-toe around as to not upset anyone.

"Hi all, I have been on the GB since I joined Lit."

Yep, I saw you posting all over the place.

"Pollyjean told me to come and check you guys out cause your a lot nicer."
The GB isn't nice? Well, I guess I'm nicer here.

"So I posted my thread to her on this forum."
Yep, I noticed that too.

april-wine,
I figured I was reading my own mind. Glad we're on the same wavelength.
