Well, the Fool is always a delectible meal, and I heard Cubans in Florida were pre-maturely celebrating the demise of Castro. Could be GREAT cigars for you, my friend! As for the heat? There is certainly nothing sexy about laying down paper in a public toilet and spending more time trying to unstick it from your butt than it took to go! I just thank god I am in tune with these important matters, some people, are not, and indeed my roomie walked out with some, on his shoe mind you, not sticking out of his shorts - thankfully.

I lived in SoCal, a 96F is nothing in comparison! And please - we have enough smog on our own - and don't BRAG about 80F - lol!

It's so hot here in Dallas, when I took the dogs (beagle and golden retriever) to the vet, they passed on sticking their noses out the rear windows. Once I turned on the A/C, the retriever rested her head on the console between the front seats so the vents would blow on her head. It's THAT hot.

Yeah, I used to live in Dallas. Texas gets a lot more moisture off the Gulf than we do here. I can't even imagine what it must be like further south; like say, Houston?

Here in Phoenix its been cooler than usual the last few days, relatively speaking. A daily high of 101F !! As opposed to 110-115. Boy, am I keen to get back to the good old coolish UK.

At the moment, it's 98F with humidity of 24%. We are both in shorts and tank-tops, painting and cleaning. Like Crim, if it wasn't for the a/c, I'd have died a long time ago. Each time we go outside for a smoke, I practically inhale the thing all in one go so I can get back to the A/C.

I NEVER want to experience temperatures like this ever, ever, ever again.

As for making love in these temperatures......providing the a/c is cranked nice and low, and we have the fans on for extra air movement.......it's fine. And there's always the fun of showering together before and after. And any time in between.

I just got back from getting groceries, half of me melted off when I was putting stuff in the trunk. Then the bag boy called the manager who made me scrape that half of me up and put it in a plastic bag to take home with me. They are in a no melting zone.
