I'm single at present, but wish to meet new friends by visiting S&M/Fetish clubs.....

This will mean quite a drive from where I live.

I will find it daunting at first, walking into a club like that.

What can I expect and what exactly will be expected of me?

Any advice?

I've been to two. Strangely I think they were both called Hell, or Club Hell or something.

One was in Sydney I think the other was in NYC. The one in Oz was more fasion show than actual BDSM club, at least the one night that i was there.

The one in NYC was just nasty. I've heard Paddles is better, but never made it there.

You are probably talking about Hellfire in NYC. Paddles is also in NYC. If I am nto mistaken, Hellfire has been reopened by the same folks but it now known as Fetish Warehouse.. While I have not been to either one, I have heard from people who have and the opinions vary.

As for going to any fetish clubs, I would suggest trying to find a locval munch and ask them abotu any clubs and what they are like.
