I feel like I'm repeating myself over and over again. I sound like an old gramophone that's stuck.

Then don't. Problem solved.

Thanks. :p I'll just write "Dear Mr X. I'm applying for this job and please give it to me from the kidness of your heart. Thanks."

Sometimes I over simplify things. No dis intended, I just thought a quick laugh might help.

Best of luck in your search. The right one really is there.

No offense, I'm just sick and tired of it all. No job, no life and no money. Having to leave London too for moving back home and in with my folks. Probably won't get a job in Sweden eiether the way things look. Blah. Just frustrating.

When I was still looking, I just wrote up one cover letter and manually inserted the appropriate words in various places. Occasionally I would have to switch something around, and once in a while customize it a bit, but for the most part all employers got the same cover letter.

As long as your grammar and spelling are correct, and it makes sense, a cover letter doesn't have to be anything special. In the tech sector we just make sure to include the buzzwords they are looking for so that they will look at the resume. At that point if they don't see what they want it get's trash binned.
