Good picks, actually. But I'd go with Orange is the New Black in Comedy.
:nods:

edited to add: also Boardwalk Empire for direction.

I saw Breaking Bad once. They had a self storage room full of money. It was an ok show I guess.

I didnt think Season 2 was very funny.....in fact, kind of edgy...

My picks. I think Breaking Bad is going to damn near sweep because it's the final year and often these big cult shows tend to get a lot of love in their final year (with few exceptions).

Outstanding Drama: Breaking Bad
Actor in Drama: Bryan Cranston (although a win by McConaughey would not shock)
Actress in Drama: Robin Wright.
Supporting Actor: Aaron Paul
Supporting Actress: Maggie Smith
Writing for Drama: Breaking Bad
Direction for Drama: True Detective

Outstanding Comedy: Orange is the New Black (damn near a lock)
Actor in Comedy: Louis CK
Actress in Comedy: Edie Falco

They love Julia Louis-Dreyfus and that mini series The Normal Heart.....My god, that show was so depressing....

Saying Kimmel is funny is like saying "Breaking Bad" has another season coming up: It's just not true!

On a related note, neither is his ex-turned-Emmy-stealer, Sarah Silver-medalist!

I have just figured out a way to save time in the decision making portion of my life. I'll just wait to see what you have to say and pretend it is opposite day.

At first I could not figure out whose alt you are until I realized. Wait! This is an actual person. He actually thinks like this and walks amongst other humans...

My favorite post of yours recently was where someone liked a tv show and you Googled a show you don't watch to tell him why he shouldn't enjoy it either.

If there was a prize for most seriously disturbed newcomer, you would win it going away.

This made me laugh.

Well, he had good writers.....I doubt he made that stuff up. But it was funny...

Overall, not too bad, Breaking Bad sweeep.....

"Breaking Bad" is an intentionally-ironic name; Attempted to break records for award-wins & nominations, while admitting before the first episode ever aired that it was bad (low quality being another record they aimed to break).

See?! That was even funnier than anything Kimmel has ever said!! Even the best joke by Williams, Carlin, Foxx, or anyone else lacks humor when coming out of JK's mouth! (To paraphrase the Robin line that came out of Billy's mouth Monday night, "Jimmy Kimmel being funny?! Now, THAT's a concept!!")
