Bump because this is one of the only posts in recent memory that was written in a correct manner. It spelled out all of the gentleman's desires, yet didn't say "omg, fuck me on the internet now because I'm lonely!" It made astute observations about the community here that we all know to be true and gave this site the respect that is due in the process.

First to answer your question....yes. I have made a couple online acquaintances here who I feel I can call my friends. Of course there are always varying degrees of friendship, but there is one in particular I have felt comfortable in sharing and being myself...which is a very valuable asset to have. The key is not to go looking for it, but be open to the possibility that someone out there may possibly be honest and true....enjoy the good times and work through the tough ones.
