I've been thrown for a loop.

I've been messaging one hell of a sexy guy. It's just for fun, so I haven't -- at least I don't think I have -- let on about my true identity. He's given away quite a bit of info, except for his last name. Well, curiosity got the best of me, and I hit Google today. I think I've figured out who he is. That, or this online person is doing a good job of pretending to be this public person that I found. The point here is that the person I found, the public person, has a reputation to uphold, a big reputation that would be ruined if the right people knew what I know. I very seriously doubt anybody in his real circle of friends knows he writes the nasty things that he writes.

What would you do? Keep it to yourself and enjoy the relationship? Let on that you know? I'm keeping it to myself for now, but was so shocked that I just had to share it with somebody! Has this happened to any of you?

still under this you have to reliase that even though you might have a good thumb on who he is, you still dont. aside from that, multipule people share the same name, My name is Paul Collins, but if you google my name you wont ever find Me on it, the most you would find is my father or grand father. since we all share the same name.

aside from that, on the real question, He is sharing his personal thoughts with you, maybe his personal emotions or loves with You. Is it really THAT hard to understand the ideal of privacy people hold between people they like?

it shouldnt matter on his standing, public position or dispostion, or ranking among men, he is sharing His personality with You, Not the public. on Most people who have general sense of honor, you dont go blurting out other peoples secrets, they entrusted you to keep it a secret for them.

i belive those that break this general unspoken rule are mearly hacks to get their quick rich scheme going and shine in their 15 minutes of fame...

Another consequence -- if this person REALLY is who you think he is -- is how your life will be affected.

The bigger the public figure, the more the media will scrutinize your life.

Would you like the media rooting through your garbage, checking your high school history, talking to past accquaintances, colleagues, etc. to find out YOUR dirt?

Whatever you two are doing, you are doing it together. I don't understand why it would be such a thrill to expose him. He probably has a big reputation because he worked hard and made something of his life, so his sourse of power is real. He earned it. Maybe you should give that a try too. We all are the keepers of others secrets. Jerking them around by using what we know is not praiseworthy, in my opinion.

i know if word got out explaining what i did in secret i know for a Fact, every one would say, who is he? even those related to me.

lol, i went to a familiy reunion over the summer, half of my familiy didnt even recognise me. they all went to my dad saying, hey, where is your son? and i was standing right next to him.

im not sure if thats a good thing or bad thign tho.
