I'm not ignoring you guys

Sorry about not updating. I've managed to get a staph infection that spread to my bloodstream.

For you mega sadists out there I had to have an abcess the size of a golf ball cut open and drained on my hip. Under the skin and it was spreading into the muscle. Fuck that hurt. No painkillers as it was too infected.

I think there is something bad in the water here but I did read that staph infections are becoming common from using shared gym equipment that isn't properly sanitized. Or I could have gotten it anywhere public. Spreads much like the flu.

There is a lesson here. Always sanitize the gym equipment before and after as the last asshole might not have wiped it down with disinfectant. Always wash your hands (I do anyway) and carry some of that waterless hand cleaner stuff.

We live in a world of filthy, disease ridden motherfuckers and have to protect ourselves.
Sorry to hear that happened, Betticus. Hope you feel better very soon. :rose:

Well, I haven't been here in a while.

I've haven't quite felt like myself lately.

Missed you.

Thanks. I'm going to try to get more of this story out soon. I'm enlisting the help of my ex wife (she has the B.A. in English and the Masters in library science) and she loves the idea of the story. She is for some reason under the impression that it's a childrens story. go figure. She loves to write though so you never know. She might turn it into a book then a movie someday and I'll be left out in the cold. Bah!

So, the pale one is the dominant fairy and the gold one is the sub. You have prolly guessed that much by now. It's going to twist and turn though so don't try to guess too far out.

Glad to see you back. Hope you're feeling much better. Can't wait for the rest of the story. :)

Glad you are feeling better, Betticus. Take your time and don't rush the story on my account. :)

As Hannah was going to talk to her father she heard a loud noise outside. She met her father at the door and they both opened it and looked outside. There was a lawyer standing there with paper in his hands, a group of sheriffs deputies and a work crew with a bulldozer.

Hannah's father asked what was going on and the lawyer told him that a local businessman had used the new imminent domain laws to sieze the woodcutters home and land in order to build a new shopping mall and a Starbucks. The deputies dragged the two from their home kicking and screaming, not even letting them get any clothes or personal possessions. They watched in horror as the bulldozers demolished their house, inevitably crushing Hannah's prized flower and killing her two new fairy friends.

Within six months Hannah was living and working in a seedy brothel to support herself and her father had committed suicide because of the shame of not being able to provide for his family. The entire enchanted forest was razed to make way for the mall and parking lot and the trendy chain restaurants around it. An exclusive members only golf course was put on the rest of the enchanted land and a golf course community of 500,000 and up homes sprung up all around the area.

Within a year Hannah died diseased and broken of a crack cocaine overdose.

The handsome prince did manage to get himself a brand new real estate development and made millions on the store space rentals in his mall and the sale of the golf course community residential property. He also owned the exclusive golf course and made a steady, very generous income from that venture.

The End.

Lonely for the holidays. This is the first time I've had Christmas off work and being alone for this is really dragging me down. I feel like cat poo!

I can relate. Had my girls Christmas morning, but then they both left - one to her own place and the other off with her dad for a week. Hard to do holidays alone. And now looks like New Years will be alone too. *sigh*

You shouldn't say that unless you really mean it. You know, Las Cruces isn't that far from Prescott.

Awwwww... It's probably not a good idea right now. I went minimalist and have no furniture.

Betticus, why don't you have any furniture??

Nothing to sit on other than my computer chair. I do have a desk, file cabinet, coffee table and bedroom furniture. And a bookshelf.

Wow. That is minimalist. Of course I'm one of those people that sits on the floor even when the furniture is all available. You could always just get a bunch of beanbags or something if you wanted something easy and hideable.
