I hate moving. I have too much crap to move. Moving should be made illegal. One should be forced to live in the same apartment for their entire life even if their job moves to Idaho or something. Too bad. Think commute!

I've been at this moving crap since Friday night. I still have about one more round trip to make with my van. I may die yet today.

There's really only one answer

Sell all your old stuff and buy everything new. Have it delivered. Clothes, refrigerator, furniture, TV's, even food. Everything new. Have it delivered in advance and just leave all the old stuff for the new owners of your old place. Or you could just hire some young studd (or studdette) to move all your old stuff, whatever is your preference. Then you could have some surreptitious sex... at least that's what all the stories say...

Damn, confusing stories with reality again... it really is time to renew my prescription...

i know how you must feel honey, crap, i can't say too much on the subject hubby and i have been in the same house for the last 22 yrs and as there's only 3 yrs left to pay off the mortgage now, we aint moving not nowhere and incurring any more debt. not no fucking where

good luck with you're move hun, and try to relax for a while when you're settled wine and other strong booze helps

I wish I was there- I'm an old hand at moving and cleaning and sorting and rearranging, and dumping the excess! I would be more than glad to help! Alas...

I packed and loaded the last load and arrived back her at 10:27 PM. Now I'm wondering? Why did I just go out and buy new crap? I'm quite proud of myself though. I did take a couple of things to the Goodwill. (I'm surprised they weren't rejected!)

And my box is quite clean. I just took a shower. (Those two sentences may or may not go together, I'm not sure just now.)
