Cym was harrassed and nitpicked by a spineless punk named Lancecastor until she would blow up at him, at which point, of course, many people who had nothing to say about his behavior would express their outrage at her for hers. This kept on until she just couldn't handle it anymore, resigned from being Moderator, and left Lit.
The whole thing makes me ill.

she did feel a lot of pressure being mod i know that ... also there is some political aspect to it that she felt some people didn't like her being a mod and in a position of power because she is a sub so some people said she wasn't a real submissive

also whenever she would show a opinion over on the BDSM board some people throw back in her face that she was a moderator and shouldn't act that way ... i think in the end it just wasn't fun for her and was to much hassle with upset spilling over into her real life from it all

im really sad about her leaving recently she and i had a pm talk about eating disorders because her daughter came through that and i had some trouble with it when i was younger ... i never saw cymbidia just as someone from BDSM or a moderator on literotica she just really was a cool friend


being honest though there is a lot of good people over on the BDSM forum it was a minority i think that made cym feel this way it was quite a vocal minority

Okay, I have no interest in bdsm. But I have learned some things about it during my time at lit. Things that cym taught for the most part, before the bdsm board was started. Even I know that being a mod and in position of power has nothing to do with the sexual side of someone as being a sub. What you do as a career or a hobby can be the exact opposite of your preference in bed.
Expecting her to be a sub in everything, in her daily life, is nutty.

I hope she comes back here to post, too.

You know.. I've been thinking about what you said Sex-girl. I don't understand why anyone would have a problem with a sub being a moderator. It's not even really pwoer. Think of more a s a balance between powers if you know what I mean. Submissives do have power outside of the power exchange. Look at most female subs, they run the household for the most part right?

The BDSM it would seem was starting to fall apart, but I think that in the end it will survive!

Apparently she was lambasted by several people for putting the asshole on ignore. In all honesty, there was no way she could win.
