You might get a better response if you indicated the genre and gave some idea of the length (preferably in word count). Most of us have "no-no" genres and, on the other hand, "Yes, please" genres, so responses to very vague requests tend to be thin on the ground.
Switching on private messaging might also help (in User CP, Edit Options).
No you're not. I said I would take care of that as well, although I'm not a big fan, but editing is editing. Unless someone else who appreciates the genre would step up.
