After what? 4 & 1/2 months of single life I finally flirrted with a guy in RL! Yeah I've flirted with you guys but here''s the thing.
I'm shy
No, don't laugh, I kid you not. I am shy. I start to blush & I get all flustered, really a very sad sight.
So my future cousin-in-law comes over to take a look @ my PC (something's going on with the modem I don't know) & takes his cousin along.
I smiled, I joked, I flirted!
I'm just so proud of myself.

OK we now return to your regularly scheduled program.

JB.....you have every right to pat yourself on the back.

Just keep it up...:D

i hope you're sittin' there kinda smilin' and feelin' good and thinkin', " that was fun and easy and i'm gonna do it again".

Just to show you it's not only the girls that have trouble, I'll tell you a short story that happened to me just last week.

I was in the local public establishment having a few beers and joining in with the karoke singers (I know I'm sad) when this young blond walked in.

In all my adult life I have never had the guts to go up to someone and simply ask them out, even though I've always known the worst that could happen is they say no.

On this particular night however I was feeling quite lonely, anyway more than two hours went by with me trying desperately to think of something to say.

In the end I simply walked over to her table sat down beside her and asked the following.

"Could I ask you a personal question."
"Um, yes alright," was her reply.
"Are you attached."
"Yes," came the reply.
"No more needs to be said, sorry to have bothered you."

I then went back to my own table and left shortly afterwards. My point though was that it's taken me forty odd years to do that simple act of approaching someone, so you should feel proud that you had the courage to flirt, it's not easy for some people.
