I recently submitted 2 stories to Lit and figured out how to find them in my profile but how am I supposed to see my rating, when people rate my story? I know I definitely have at least 1 rating for each of them and one feedback for one of them came through as an e-mail but are they stored somewhere? How do I view them in my profile? I'm damned if I can figure it out.

Thanks

To view your ratings you need to look in the same place you submitted the stories. The page that you initially accessed the forums from.

The ratings will be under Submissions -> View

Excellent. I've found it. :nana: Thanks a lot. I never would have found that in a million years.

Some who has left me a comment doesn't seem to quite understand the story. Are you supposed to respond to the comments or just take them as they are?

Two things

First, you can go to the submissions area. To the home page of Literotica, through the link "Stories & Pics"
That gets you to the Story Index
Now, near the top, choose "Login"
That gets you to the Lit control panel (different from the Forum control panel)
Hit "Submissions" in the menu
"This is the area of your control panel where you can..," it says
Hit the "View" option
and all your ratings on all your submissions are there

Since your story is a new one, it will be on the "New" lists in the Story Index.
The rating will be there, too.

You now know that there is a time lag between a story's actual posting and the title showing up in your member page. Weird, huh?

It's public comments so you can do either. Personally, I don't usually explain or comment or erase, but that's a personal preference.

If it's left-field, gonzo, wacked-out irrelevant, go ahead and shitcan the idiot. With love and understanding, naturally.

If they left you with questions you want answered (and their id) then I would PM them to strike up a discussion.

Don't forget to answer all your e-mails at least with acknowledgements where possible.

Gauche makes an excellent point. Don't let fanmail drop off into the ozone. Answer people.

Thanks to all for excellent info and advice. I never thought to actually answer the e-mail. That's done now.

Thanks again. You're all great
